| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Koharu is finally here! Took 4 episodes but its about time. She gets along quite well with Haruo too thanks to their interest in games. I also thought the episode was kinda interesting for blending the lines between fiction and reality. Koharu is also much more talkative than Oono. I think she makes an interesting addition to the cast. |

| Yeah, forums are back. I can talk about my favorite show right now. I can not help feeling identified with Haruo talking about the intro of SSF2 with such passion. I love how everything is seen from the perspective of kids of that time, even the "don't play video games, do something useful" from the teacher. And I love how Haruo interacts with the other characters. |

| Now that the forum is back, we can finally talk about the real AOTS of Summer 2018: this beautiful gem right here. Finally a proper good romance anime. Oh how I miss it. Tada-kun... wasn't as good as I'd like it to be. I only hope they can do a 2-cour or a 2nd season with this. This pacing is a typical JC Staff anime adaptation pacing: full of cuts, but still makes perfect sense. The closest romance anime I can think off that use this pacing is Toradora. And Toradora was saved bcs it's a 2-cour. imo, this thing also has the potential to be the next Toradora, so why not give it a chance and go for a 2-cour, dear anime producer? |

| Interesting direction the show is taking here. I like it. Ono is great, but the show seemed to just be using the same formula for the first three episodes, and it seems like they kind of took that idea as far as it could go before it got old. Koharu seems like a more layered character, and she adds something to the overall dynamic of the story... A key plot element that was missing: conflict. This episode was definitely the best of the series for me so far, and I'm interested to see what happens between Koharu and Ono upon Ono's inevitable return to Japan. |

| Lovely episode in general, quite like this new character a whole lot more and possible flags for romance development is quite lovely as well! Looking forwards to see what's next. The most annoying part of the CGI is certainly the lax take on the animation, it wouldn't bother me as much if the animation would be better. |

| Ooooh. I didn't think someone would rival Oono but the uniqueness of Koharu and how she views and interacts with Haruo is quite cute and doesn't take anytime to connect. But she's setup to fail which makes me see the course of dramatics incoming. |

| seeing an episode without Ono legit feels wrong. in only 3 episodes,i already feel like i have a bond with her :'( this episode was pretty good though,and i loved the gradual change of the girl from a non-gamer to a game fan. the girl is cute and good hearted too. she is no Ono though ;) this show has some amazing quality tbh. I havent given any anime a 10/10 in a long time,but if this level of quality continues then it is a 10/10 show for sure! |
| Oh... I wonder if Akira will return in some point of the story. Its wierd that she say good bye too early (at my opinion) in this anime. About this episode, It was obvious one of the kids got sick with fever. |

| We really got a timeskip, damm, 2 years later, must have been tough for him, he still clearly remenbers of the fond memories he had with Ono, that was sad man. Then comes the show introduce you to a new girl, shits on you, and then trolls you in the end by making it impossible not to like her... why has this show to play with my feels, my pure and honest heart like this?! xD Koharu is definitly a very charming girl, I wanna see more, but I have to resist and keep faith on Ono... dammit all! | This show can surprisingly be cute. It gets better with every episode. At episode 1, I was thinking I'd drop this after 3 episodes. But it continuously got better from episode 2. I like Koharu, she's quite cute ^^ but it's sad that she's definitely going to lose to Ono who I also like but still :( |

| Damn. Koharu was just introduced in this episode, and went from dismissive of Haruo to having a crush on him by the time it ended. Lightning pace in this anime. She has a nice voice as well. It's very serene and calm. No doubt the timeskip will be used to expedite Akira's inevitable return to the show. |
