Dang, Aoi looked especially great this episode.

The episode contained some character drama as usual but Holmes was able to figure out the situation as usual. Aoi actually fits in right with that party and that kinda surprised me somewhat.

Another good episode.

First I was thinking that Holmes wanted to introduce a girl as his ex apprentice and that we would see some jealousy of Aoi.

Rikyu is a cheeky brat,tho.

This show has been pretty meh for me. There was barely any time to even think about the mystery this ep and no tension. I didn't care about these random stage performers and their randomly inserted 'tragic' backstory to make us understand why they would go to such lengths for a magician who we have never met and was essentially just name dropped.

Problem with the show is that the cases are boring. Someone compared it to Sakurako-san - which I liked more. Despite the main char also having superpower-like abilities it seemed more interesting.

Here Holmes always seems to solve the mysteries too fast. This episode could have been much nicer if they had made a longer story out of it. More background for the culprits. More time to solve the case.

Shota step brother totally ruined the mood with his wrestling part. Also that "appraisers pride" is annoying as fuck. Makes Holmes seem like an asshole if he puts on is bad guy face. The grandfather still has that pride - but acts in a totally different (and much better) manner.

Too much shoujo-feeling with Holmes being the super guy and Aoi liking him.

If it weren't already aired by half of his episodes after that wrestling thing ... I might have thought about dropping it. But I guess I'll finish the remaining episodes.

(I guess this will be only 1-cour? There is no episode amount listed yet but would be weird for such an episodic show to get a 2-cour anime.)

That party was an exciting affair, wasn't it? I'm sure the guests were entertained.

But that Rikyu was annoying, making use of every chance he got to say that Aoi wasn't up for the job, I was already at my wit's end with the brat when he came up with some sweet judo moves. He is still annoying, but at least he had a cool moment.

I'm also still baffled that the owner apologized for doing the right thing, and that those two were shameless enough to stay there to party after what they had done, they should've had the decency to leave .

But Aoi is finally more conscious of what she's starting to feel for Holmes-san, and I'm loving it. She was also looking great ~

It was my least fav episode so far( Those 2 performers looked kinda silly. It was said correctly 'Fake is fake' what the hell did they want? but that's why it was a tad surprising and sweet to see that apology.
That poker game seemed completely out of place. How is it connected to what Holmes is actually doing. Is his job solving riddles? But I liked his glare. And why did he ask if she was frightened by it? O_o It was hot af

These episodes go by so fast... Being a Sherlockian, I fell in love with the series from right off. And have thoroughly enjoyed every episode. But, it always leaves me wanting more! And, while I’m not really a shipper, even I can see that the ship is already sailing, for Aoi and Holmes-san, lol.

I want to see more of Holmes' dark side. He and Aoi should just go ahead and hook up already!

The episode was meh....

It was interesting to see the Kiyotaka family dynamic but the case itself was boring and pretty easily solvable. When one of the brothers pointed out the chandelier, it was evident that they were up to something especially because the event had nothing to do with the story at that point and yet it took up about 8secs of screen time.

I don't think Yoshie-san is that's pretty but the owner sure does.

It was probably my recommendation. I have to agree, Sakurako-san was much better than Holmes, especially if compared with the last episodes. I'm not sure if it is only my impression, but the technical quality of the show is becoming worse.

Well... That was a strange episode.
I feel it was a bit rushed too. The "mystery" part was really short, though some obvious clues were present in the middle of the episode.
And what the hell with the poker game out of nowhere ?

I like the characters of this anime, but the stories seem a bit... childish ?

Much better than ep. 5. More drama and intrigue.
