Ok, so more Excalibur action will later....El Cid haven't had time to show his awesomeness yet....
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

On MAL, everyone who has used the lame rating system becomes a critic and an intellectual by default, haven't you heard?

Pretty weak episode. I get that they wanna set the backstory but it's not very entertaining. I didn't like future Capricorn and I didn't like this one, for now at least.

So much of Nakai Kazuya indulgence <3~ waiting to see El Cid fight like there is no tomorrow.
From the look of the PV- no Hades *pulls hair*
This season might have more than 12 episodes-- deducing from the look of the show's progression.

Is it some kinda staple that Saint Seiya's nothing but badly thought out writing? Seriously, every character is dense as hell and if I was El Cid and I was fighting a guy who can warp space I would be careful not to get sliced by my own attacks. Same with Athena, sending three low grade saints to infiltrate enemy headquarters, if this was a real war I'd send some backup and have my gold saints come in pairs.

Bet those four Gods are going to turn the world into some sort of twisted hell. Also, one of them (Phantasos) seems like a girl...

"Death is not something to be called splendid." yoooooooooooooooo I love this shit.

I have a question, is Phantasos a girl? Because she definitely looks and sounds like one but her sculpture looked like a male.

I'm really liking Oneiros's voice. It sounds awesome.

Capricorn El Cuid, the Gold Saint who posseses the Holy Sword Excalibur, but who is so humble he doesn't dare to call it "holy sword". Cold like the steel and with an iron will, he will shown during the next episodes why he is one of the coolest characters of the series.
I found the stuff with his disciples a bit boring, but then I remembered it will be important for the future, and it also gave us details of how El Cid is, and how his relationships with Sisyphus is, to the point of challenging the Gods to recover his soul.
The animation when El Cid cuts the water into two during his training was really splendid.

Those fucking fodder Spectres, thinking they could take down a Gold Saint by themselves, what a bunch of retards. Not even Genbu Gregor (an Specter who looked more comptent in battle) could even scratch El Cid, what a badass.

The new antagonists of this arc, the Dream Gods appears. The most destacable one this episode are Icelus (voiced by the great Ryusei Nakao), who managed to cut El Cid's arm with his tricky power, that I like.
There is also Phantasos and... Well, what I can say about... her... We will see later.
