Damn, Galand is on another level compared to the other demons Meliodas faced so far. With a power level of 26k+, it's to be expected I guess. Plus, he's one of the infamous Ten Commandment!

Glad to see the episode adapting the violence from the manga.

Seeing Meliodas go into his demon form is quite a sight to see.

FukuJun's character getting saved by Suzuki-san's character's blood. Suzuki-san's character is also free and the tree is safe.

As expected from knowing KajiKaji's character, the enemy is not easy to defeat.

Titan girl is back, needing two magic, though. She's still too weak.

Being truth element, Sakamoto-san's character got stoned for lying.

Since the enemy is too strong, KajiKaji's character have to release his demon form.

Other members from the group, who were waiting, start eating the souls of the people who happens to meet up.

KajiKaji's character trying to use and control the power of demon form. They lost and the enemy is satisfied. Pink hair guy is back to human form and laughing crazily.

Those threesome saw those people who got soul eaten earlier, as well as the village of people who are getting souls eaten. They were able to defeat that one monster and release the souls, but another monster appeared. That boss from first season "joins" them?

Their fight next, and KajiKaji's character and others seems to be safe after tending the wound.

I thought that Meliodias was stronger, maybe he is also sealed or he was very affected that there is not much magic in the air
The question isn't "What anime do you like?" That is merely a list.
The question is "Why do you like it?" That tells a story. Your story.

Best shonen ep I have seen in ages. The despair, blood and difference in power that makes the good guys piss their pants...It takes me back to DBZ's Freezer saga, or Saint Seiya with the bronze saints being thrashed by Gemini.

Giving this a solid 9 so far

It is incredible to see this in the schedule that the anime is transmitted, it is only 6:30 am, as someone said in another forum, Japan is a strange country.

Judging by the power levels Meliodas and the rest didn't stand a chance if only Galan used some sort of magical attack there was a chance for Meliodas.

I got no problem with how they're doing the adaptation, the animation was brutal af, especially the part when Galan jumped back in behind Merlin.
Really enjoying this adaptation more than I thought.

Is it just me or did they made Mel stronger? could swear Mel PL was around 10K back then but here he's PL is 13k

Anyway, Episode was good and Music was on point, I wish they would produce a bit better and jumping between the scenes should be handled better than this

This ep was probably the best I've seen from Nanatsu, I'm not a really fan of the series.
They managed to put all that violence and tension in a Shounen anime, that was really nice.

And so the sloppy adaptation continues with its lazy animation. I can't believe they would do so bad even during the major fight scenes. They did up the animation in a few scenes but that was it. This anime deserves so much more. It's like watching one piece or naruto all over again. Sad!

Galand is such a beast, he practically rekted everyone. I especially loved how he defeated Diane by reflecting her own hammer and hitting her in the forehead. His laugh was really awesome.
I loved the OST during the fight before the appearence of the eyecatch, it was really cool.

Gowther scene was bizarre in the manga, and is no different in the anime xD

Good episode. They adapted 3 chapters, panel to panel. The animation is obviously lacking in parts but that’s to be expected from A1 Pictures.

The dark beam attack looks SOOO shitty. I’m kinda disappointed. But I did like seeing this slaughterfest animated.

Looking forward to seeing Hendrickson starting to atone for his actions.

Best episode till date, that was so damn intense.

Galland straight out wrecked everyone. :O
That was brutal as hell, Meliodas getting impaled more often than not and the final slash to his eye and Diane's arm. Galland was pretty much flaunting his power.

Interesting how Galland has the Commandment of truth and that anyone who lies to him gets turned to stone. I wonder what powers the others have.
Galland dropped a little something calling Meliodas a traitor, I guess that kinda hints at Meliodas's origin.

I've got a feeling that Merlin probably escaped the petrification somehow. Looking forward to see what she did.

Gowther at the end. XDDD

Hendrickson looking to redeem himself. :)

Hmm I expected more from this episode since it was so hyped up before. Galand just slaughtered them really fast and that was it but since it's clear that no one will die there since Gowther will do some reviving thing the events of the episode just lacks some impact for me.

Funny to see that gray demon is a fodder, where in first season, in order to beat it, every important character had to pull everything they got.
Galand is so OP.

Galand took out mostly everyone, I doubt that he was even trying and that’s his power level when he is weakened by the goddess seal.

What an episode, even Meliodas didn’t stand a chance with his demon form. That laugh Gowther did at the end, jeez!

These guys didn't even stand a chance against Galland. Sure, Meliodas managed to land some hits after powering up a bit, but Galland basically destroyed them all with relative ease. And he still has no magic power at this point. I liked this episode, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Glithunder trio team up with Hendrickson next episode.

Are you talking about when he powered up? Because both here and in the manga, his new PL was 10,300. There was no change.

Not too bad for an A1 adaptation but nothing too spectacular either.
Galan destroys everyone, not even your super special shonen transformation can help you atm Meliodas.
Bargaining Merlin gets served for once, cease thy lies you fool, no lies before the truth commandment, not even Merlin knew about that.

Was it censored in the manga too then?

Ooft. Looking forward to seeing how things progress after that episode. Seeing the sins get beat about by a "weakened" Galand really puts things into perspective for the power curve that'll undoubtably happen on both sides.

Man this went dark AF but all of this development is not as impactful at it should have been (not that I didn’t like it) because we all know that Elizabeth is going to negate all of that unless she has some kind of limitation to her ability (there are too many people) or maybe I’m wrong and Gowther laughter is the key to negate all of their deaths…

As amazing as Galand's takedown of three of the seven Sins was, it raises the issue that there's gonna need to be a lot of deus-ex machinas to ensure that the Sins have even the faintest chance of defeating the Commandments. Also, why didn't Meliodas use Full Counter against Galand, rather than going on the offensive and getting pulverised?

Still, this was a great episode and it's only going to get more interesting, I'm sure.

Wow, an intense episode!! I think Galan is really strong, but I think the Seven Deadly Sins are not fool enough to confront him after 3000 years, I think Gowther has done something to Galan. That fight makes me want to see the complete squad of Seven Deadly Sins, including Ban, King, and Escanor, too hahaha, but really Hendrickson is really weird, I really don't know why now he wants to help Seven Deadly Sins after he made those Demons rise again?

haha yes ;) I wonder how different aka much better they would have adapted Black Clover instead of Studio Pierrot. We probably would be at the underwater temple arc already. A1 is imo one of the better studios out there.

About the EP: Since I read the manga, I knew what was to come. But the scenes with Galan were still brutal af x_x I can't really hate the guy, that wrecking was too cool lol

Interesting battle. I'm sure none of the characters will die, after all this is a shounen. I want to understand how they will come out of that state of near-death. But apparently the next episode will focus on Gilthunder and his group, forgetting the other characters... Looking forward to the 7th episode~~

For some reason I laughed really hard when Merlin's stone head rolled, even though I know I should feel bad about it. Diane getting hit with her own hammer was hilarious too.

But my, things are sure turning worse by the second. This production never ceases to amaze me - graphical disfigurements, grotesque monsters and creepy sound design to go along with it.

On another note, I hope we get some games on PC and mobile soon. Some of the powers in 7ds look really cool.
