| I just read a few chapters of the manga, so I don't know if the characters at the beginning of the episode (a guy called Daichi and a pop idol) will be part of the series from now on or if they were an unexpected, random part. Does anyone know? |

Of course, the first chapter of "Hoshiiro Girldrop" turned out to actually be more Pop Team Epic instead. The start of the episode is a reference to that. |

| the audience is pretty split for this one. I thought it was interesting but it is definitely hard for me to get into because I just don't understand the gags. Gags are hard to understand in another language and society. Sometimes it's one of those have-to-be-there scenarios. I so the promo on crunchyroll's fb and thought I'd give it a try but didn't think it would be like this...maybe I'll understand it more next episode. |

I love the references in this anime but the random humor just isn't clicking with me. It's kind of obligating me to watch it though since I run an anime meme page and this is everyone's jam there.
