| They put way too much time into the shogi bit. I literally facepalmed because the entire first half about shogi was just so the main character would think to get the core because it's similar to shogi. Rofl fucking no. Any one would have thought of the core being its weak spot. The entire episode felt pretty dam pointless. |

| Slip has thus far been the best magic. That fact actually characterizes this show really well. Also, MC still got way too OP way too quickly. I'm not sure whether I'm watching this show for anything other than being able to watch this and double task on other things... |

| Its nice that Touya is the type of person that's willing to learn new things as he encounters them. Man that reaction from the girl sure was a massive overreaction. Considering the size of the capital getting lost will be a major concern i think. Its surprising that Touya was the one that ended up being late rather than the girls lol. Hmm so that coat is a bit of a mixed bag then eh. It increases resistance for affinities you have while doubling the damage you take from those that you don't. Its funny seeing Touya's reaction when dealing with being praised by the girls though. To think that Touya managed to learn a new skill that allows him to create replica's of things though. Man this skill will be pretty useful. Introducing modern sports into this world sure is interesting. Hmm so Sue has a rather inpatient personality with regards to games eh. So instead of throwing a tantrum she tickles Touya instead eh lol. Shogi sure has become pretty popular in this world after being introduced. As expected the guild in the capital is much larger. So the girls are united in their hatred of slime eh lol. Elze can readily see through Touya's thoughts eh lol. Their party though consisting of both a samurai and a unarmed magic user thats supported by two mages sure is proving to be pretty effective as demonstrated in the fight against that knight. The search function sure is proving to be pretty useful. Using an explosion spell to remove debris eh interesting move. Still its cute seeing Linze get flustered when she's embarrassed. Hmm so Yae despite being brave has a weakness of ghosts eh lol. Its funny that apart for Linzel both her sister and Yae are afraid of ghosts lol. Looks like the girls are starting to get used to the smartphone then. Hmm thats quite the distance for the just in case excuse lol. So the thing they found was actually a magic beast eh. The fight against the magic beast though was pretty interesting and showed how good the teams teamwork has become. But man that guy was just full of surprises. Hmm using the summoning spell to summon the beasts power core and allow Elze to destroy it eh. A novel idea indeed. The mystery of the capital eh. Using drawing magic to create replica's of his photos eh interesting. Hmm so the king has been poisoned eh. An ominous start for the next arc. |

| Does somebody want to explain to me how the creature can absorb all magic cast on it EXCEPT the Aports spell? It's not like it was being used to affect the environment like the ice spell or Slip, Aports was definitely being cast directly on the creature. It's almost like the writer just wanted to quickly resolve the situation without having to put any thought into it... funny how that is. Also, let's be fair. This show isn't a ripoff of Konosuba or Re:Zero. You don't need to make needless (and sometimes forced) comparisons to belittle the show, the bad writing and terrible pacing do that well enough on their own. |

| Going to drop this show but this episode was somewhat interesting with the cave exploration and more action packed. Sure hope its get better doe. Doubt it however. Didn't expect to see blood tbh. |

I can't help but draw comparisons between the two because of the similarities between the two. Also, Megumin would MOST CERTAINLY NOT BE PROUD OF THAT LOW TIER, LACKING, TINY, DISAPPOINTING, CRAPPY LITTLE BURST OF SMOKE. Its like comparing a nuke to a glorified sparkler. |

| I don't know what you guys are talking about with this "average" stuff. I thought it was well above average! Did you guys see that fight where it took MC over 10 minutes to realize that the only distinct feature on the monster was actually its weak point? That was sick. Sherlock Holmes, eat your heart out! We've got a genius on the case! Hey, do you guys remember how they showed the retarded beetle thing absorbing the energy from the fire spell and then it did nothing? Yeah, it seemed like they were trying to establish its powers and indicate that magic would not be useful against it, creating an interesting situation where MC and his gang would have to think of a clever workaround. It was just a prank though, as they immediately follow up by using another magic spell and this one works because it's....indirect? I guess their reasoning is that the magic creates a non-magic ice ball and because the ice ball itself isn't magic, it works? Why couldn't you also just use that same reasoning to say that the fire she created earlier isn't magical itself? It was just created by the magic hahahaehaehae. Also, wasn't it supposed to be resistant to physical attacks as well? I don't get it. So to recap: it's resistant to magical and physical attacks until it randomly decides to stop being resistant to magical and physical attacks anymore. Amazing. My favorite part of that fight scene was when the retarded beetle stabbed the punchy girl and instead of actually doing any meaningful damage, it just immediately let her go and there wasn't even a visible hole in her body. That was cool. The animation was also superb. I think I saw 9 whole frames that didn't look like they were drawn by a toddler with down syndrome. |

Am I missing something ? it means immunity for magic attacks so if others use magic on him he gets no damage if its the magic he can use & he gets double the dam from the magic he can't use, also it could be like kkmaster1337 said but what ever way it is its immunity for magic attacks so hes not effected, immunity for magic means that its immune against magic attacks like he can use fire element then hes immune to fire, but think he has all elements so hes immune to all magic what u are talking about is dispel or negate magic effect both are similar if u add that to ur gear u cant use magic or with one of them u could use magic well in some games all this effects defend u from enemy magic & u can still use magic so depends which game logic they use here if they show dispel or negate magic some day |

| I love how everything has been proceeding so unnaturally and quickly, makes other rather lazy Isekai anime look like masterpieces. This would be torture watching this at one episode per week pace, but a manageable binge. It's alright, not the worst Isekai I've seen so far. At least it's not boring (yet) |
| Agreed, this would be horrible 1 ep per week. And actually, I kinda think this is alright. There's a decent amount of mystery building up, like why did they move the capital, what's with the ancient beasts, is it just a coincidence that there's a samurai-esque girl that knows jiu-jitsu, etc? And maybe it's not just plot convenience, but there's actually a legit reason that the royalty have gotten two assassination attempts in just 3 episodes? I would love it if there were a plot twist that the isekai protagonist just wandered in and helped the bad guys because he just didn't know any better, being new to this world and all. Probably too much to ask for something that deep from a show like this, but hey, the fact that we still don't know where this story is going makes it fun IMO. |
