| This retro anime trend is really catching on. Another old manga getting an adaptation. It’s definitely caught my interest though, so it’s working, I guess. |

To be fair, he has lost certain of his voices. Just compare him as Chô Hakkai in the 2000s and now. @vnusia It actually looks like the manga minus any shading/tone variation. @Turtles_Hunter A fear born out of - the juxtaposition of the "star" scene in the trailer (extracted from v.15-16) and the few bits coming from the first chapters (ch.1-9 I would say). They clearly intend to spit out elements of 2/3 of the manga in a single series, - the time slot who doesn't seem to be one made for a long young boys adventure/fighting show but rather limited viewership short series. edit @Turtles_Hunter Actually, the french edition also uses the chinese names. And for simplification sake, they used only one single name for each character despite them having multiple way to call themselves thanks to the chinese tradition (though Taigong's human and previous life names were mentioned too). @Himawari9 What is the "Joka" arc? If there had to be a second series, at least it would be alittle bit less compressed given the remaining tomes. I still don't see the value in watching something as miniaturized as this new try. |

| I've planned to watch it when the news first came out but after seeing the teaser i'm not so sure : the visual is too horrible. I don't know the old version nor the manga but my first impression isn't really good so i will let it go. |

| So far, I'm loving this new cast, specially KENN for Kou Tenka <3 I will miss badly Akira Ishida for Shinkouyou... And Yozen will sound more... masculine/mature? Maybe? Strange change for Shinjin... but I support Nobunaga Shimazaki :) |
