| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, a nice relaxing episode. After all the fighting, it's nice to that the show takes a breather again. Toushirou is such a nice dude to the younger kids. I feel like this is a buidup episode for the remainder of this season. At least everyone recovered now and is getting along well. |

| This was another good episode. I'm glad we got to spend more time with Unit 1 before they transitioned back over to Unit 2 but I think the underlying conflict between Unit 1 and Unit 2 that ufotable is attempting to establish is really unnecessary. Anyway, I'm dropping the series until the final episode airs ( there's on 4 episodes left if I'm right in assuming this is a 12 episode series. 5 if its 13 but I'm pretty sure its only 12 ) and I'll come back when its over and watch them in bulk. I might come back early if for any reason Unit 1 or Mikazuki Munechika returns before its over but for now, I'm leaving it right here because I really don't feel like Ill miss anything even if I don't watch the episodes while they're airing. As I expected, i found Unit 1 is far more interesting than unit 2 due to their dynamic and the team being comprised of charactersvi hold closer to my heart . I like the characters on Unit 2, but save for Tsurumaru , none of them are my favorites and Tsurumaru isnt enough to keep me interested. Hoping for a season 2 that focuses on unit 1 still since it would kind of be a waste not to show how they became as strong as they are and give them more time as characters, especially since they're well liked by the fandom as a team and as individual characters. Anyway that's all I got to say for this until episode 12. Also there is some sexual tension between Mikazuki and Izuminokami I swear. Getting the shippers going. |

| Finally Second Unit is back ..yay..!!! Even if i rewatch, i ll skip the episode with unit 1... Even if there is a difference in strength of Unit 1 and Unit 2, i think its only because of experience... and Konossuke did say to other fox that if u think Unit 1 is best then u might get rug pulled under form u ... |
| Wow a pretty deep and emotional episode as the first unit describes their post mission tradition of giving back to the communities the devastate in their attempts to preserve history...this is a really cool idea because it shows an amazing level of thought and understanding from beings that were swords or inanimate objects. On the other side we see the second unit again as Kane still feels remorse for getting his comrades hurt in their last mission and he too seems to be struggling with the concepts of how their missions impact the peoples lives they interfere with during their missions. Mikazuki is my favorite character from this anime for some reason I can't explain...but at the end of the episode he gives Kane a look as the second unit is about to go on a new mission and Mikazuki says that Kane is going to be fine...maybe this symbolizes that Mikazuki can see that Kane is starting to ponder these deeper thoughts and is making head way in becoming a good captain...in any case it was a thought provoking episode and one of the best episodes despite the lack of any action! I can't wait to see what the second unit encounters next! |

| An excellent episode, despite being more relaxed and slower paced. It was nice to see the show address the issues with protecting certain things in the past, but not others. It's cool that the First Unit always does what they can to help people affected by the war. Also really enjoyed the character development of both individuals and collective Units. My only complaint is still the lack of a grand, over-arching plot... but it's a minor complaint. |

| Dammit I like the First unit better. The visuals are stunning but it's to bad that Ufotable haven't done anything else to good in this anime. No clear direction, I guess it's just made to promote the game. But think about it, Ufotable making a Kenshin remake! ****** |

| I ship Mikazuki and Tombokiri, but they don't have lots of interactions lol. Tombokiri is my favorite character and especially design wise, all dat beef <3 Episode was alright.. As usual of ufotable anime though, characters feel bland most of the time, only exception was Kara no Kyoukai and Fate/Zero. I wonder why I'm still following all their anime religously. |
