yeah Grand Blue is a top comedy manga. I legit can't find any character that I don't like.

There are a lot of good ongoing manga out there. Grand Blue, Shokugeki no Soma, and Musou Telepathy are my favorites.

For the finished manga:

Solanin; Oyasumi Punpun (Same author)
Koe no Katachi
Tsubasa REservoir Chronicle
Wild Life (veterinarian the manga)
Slam Dunk
Deadman Wonderland
Gantz (about the first 2/3 of the story)

And my number one manga is:

Aku no Hana,
It's hard to explain why I love this manga so much. Maybe it's because I can relate to it so much. It's one of the most disturbing manga ever and it doesn't take a gore for it. Only a certain social horror.

It also has one of the most cathartic ending of any manga I've read so far. So, this one is highly recommended for you twisted fuckers.

Ohimesama no Himitsu (diabetes shoujo ai)
Sweet Magic Syndrome (diabetes comedy/SoL)
Poor Poor Lips (diabetes shoujo ai)
Koneko Hiroimashita (diabetes drama, like this is so sweet I can't even)
Acchi Kocchi (diabetes comedy/romance/SoL stuff. Also my avi most places)
Love Letter (sad as ever living fuck historical drama based on truth)

I'm reading Prunus Girl at the moment which is a pretty great trap comedy thing so far. Also currently reading HajiOtsu which is positively life-threatingly adorable.

Blame! captured me some years ago with its dense atmosphere, but sadly, Nihei's newer works arent even close to that level of quality.
Koe no Katachi was great, real drama, stirring from realistic and flawed characters.
Shamo was the fucking shit. I loved it. A great protagonist with good supporting characters, struggling through life.
Ai-Ren fucking hurt, man, on a scale like the Gurren Lagann ending.

after reading through all of claymore in like a month i can safely say that its one of my fav manga now
yall should read it

and dorohedoro
and vinland saga
and the nge manga too, that one is a real nice treat for people who've already seen the anime and want more. its different enough so that its engaging even for someone who knows the original shows int's and out's.
