Thank you, I'm glad I can provide some insight, even if minor. And yes, that wouldn't surprise me that we have a different outlooks on the show itself; we're different people with our own sensibilities, personalities, and upbringing. The reason why so many different forms of art and means of expression exists is because of that. The only person like you is you, what art does is give us a chance to relate or be alienated by commonalities or differences.

And yes, I understand what you're trying to express with VE. I directly addressed that very thing in the review itself, the idea of people trying to communicate. I think most of what VE aims to be about is very considered on paper. None of my hangups about it have to do with its screenplay. It's all about a fundamental disconnect with how it's executed. It's very performative.

And the best way to get better at explaining your stance is to practice and find better, more concise ways of communicating it through discourse and think-pieces. Moving away from broader terms and sayings if there's something else that gets closer to the intent. So instead of saying the boy was "happy" to finally receive his x-mas gift, maybe say the boy was "elated." Each word more or less communicate the same desired thing, but elation, to be "elated," speaks to a type of happiness beyond an everyday one. I hope that helps.

I'm glad you found something to build your life around. Faith is a completely alien concept to me but good for you. When it comes to crypto and NFT shit you're envolved in... well frankly I can only cringe at that.

I'm just slowly getting old while continuing to furiously consume media and neglecting my future, covid is the perfect excuse to indulge more. like, my biggest reason to not fall into complete dispair for the last year was that i got into hololive big time.
