THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The twins are accompanying the little brother. He somehow give the book that main brother said is precious back to him. Very awkward while trying to be in "normal" brothers relations. The lady also read that book before and said the character resembles little brother. Main brother showing his need made little brother forgetting to do his homework. The girl who graduated from the same junior high school is also in the same high school, and gave him the recommendation. He gave the number back. He got fever and was curious about the kiss mark he did when little brother was sleeping. lol @ the "lady"'s reveal when his friend came to visit. ED w. little brother and megane brother. Wow, dark aura from unexpected character in preview. |

So it's the same concern from the last episode. Haru seem can't getting over with it yet. And Ren still can't say that divine word to Haru. LOL And does Kiyoka really is a... Ugh, forget it. |

I'm on mobile so my review is gonna be so short, until I'm home at least. That hickie scene! I was waiting for that, Gahhh it was really good! The animation makes me laugh, this episode was so fluffy and lighthearted, I thought I was gonna faint from the cuteness. The way Ren and Haru talk every day and about their problems is probably my most favorite thing! The way Ren tells Haru he isn't leaving and he'll always stay with him warmed my heart. I felt really bad when Haru started thinking negatively and had some depressing thoughts but Ren was there for him. Even those simple words gave me a fluffy feeling. As for the characters, Kurosaki is such a bro! Me and him are alike in that regard. The whole "Oh how are you and your boyfriend? You happy?" Ahaha you do you, I do me as I always say. Kiri was simply adorable! Her and Ren's interactions are just too cute and funny. Especially since she always seems to give him advice and help him when needed. Kiyoka was an absolute riot. She is such a dear, especially since she warms up to Ren and totally becomes the aunt of the Kaidou family. I'll forever be hoping for a second season so I can see Natsuo. He's such a great character! Anyway, I'm really happy about this series and how different it is from other love stories. It makes me laugh, think, and cry ahaha. I'm so weak for this series, I'm still thinking of ordering the Blu-Ray volumes cause I'm simply too in love with the stories and characters! Haru and Ren's relationship is truly something, never fails to give me a warm fluffy feeling. As for next episode, ahaha Aki you tsundere worrywart, the tension is gonna be crazy next episode. More twins screentime, yes! I'm so happy SL is popular in Japan, I hope Abe continues to write more and more! As I'm waiting for the next chapters and episodes, I'll continue to reread the manga. 2nd season please! RenRen deserves the best! Can't wait for the last 3 episodes. |

I want to punch Haru in the face... This shit needs to get resolved ASAP because I cannot handle three more episodes of this crap... Make up your damn mind! Also, I laughed when that character said they weren't a miss but a mister because earlier in the episode, I told my sibling they sounded like a dude. Of course, women have all kinds of voices so I didn't mean to be offensive. Rock on, dude! Breaking the gender binary! |

I wonder what happened with that woman and Haru |

The farther into the forest, the curiouser and more fun :3 Though I suppose not everyone will go this here is the attitude of brother to brother, and given the reaction of the twins. By the way, what's wrong with them? Their not a bit embarrassed by the fact of abuse and too close connection between adult and child? Well it's illegal. |

Geez, the budget in this episode... And of course Haru still hasn't made up his mind. Juuzen's really a nice friend for Ren. And it's always nice to have a trap thrown into the mix! |

All the faces look so... outsourced. Bossy girl actually a guy... did it matter? Maybe yes, shows Haru was gay before/outside Ren. First female classmate talks to Ren. Nurse not even there, and friend rides Ren. They're trying too hard to remove females, even from side characters, and teases outside the main ship. |

after marathoning all the way to this episode, this series is funny, cute and really open minded (not a single person has given a serious shit to haru and ren's relationship) what a world they live in. I was expecting more conflict with the twins throughout the episodes, but it's the HaruRen show!! Given with how Haru doesn't plan on calling miki as of this episode, I guess the circlejerking continues... White Fang is such a badass cafe name |

I wanted to like this anime, I really did. But, my god, it truly is terrible. One of the main characters is a kid who barely speaks while the other one is a womanizer (great idea for a yaoi anime! /s) with the personality of a broken doorknob. Most of the supporting characters (except for Haru's ex colleague) are bland and uninteresting. And, let's not forget the animation. This has to be one of the ugliest animes I've seen in a long, long time. The faces look as if they've been drawn by a 14yo, especially when they're in the background of a scene. Anyway, rant over. At least some people here seem to enjoy it. |

the animation for this episode was really... disappointing, when i started watching this anime the first things that captured my attention were the colors and the amazingly perfect quality, if you compare the first episode with this one the change is so dramatic. As for ren's and haru's relationship... i don't think the anime really grasps the whole thing completely, after starting to read the manga i can tell that much, so i get why people find it creepy, the way they are towards each other and stuff, and there are only three episodes left and they are not even half there on covering up some important aspects. I'm hoping for a 2nd season but if there isn't one it's okay too, i think it's better if they leave it at that... if they really can't put/express it the right way. Plus, that way the hate for the series will finally be buried and everyone happy, a friendly reminder that if it's not your cup of tea, you're not obligated in any form to keep on watching it. |

I was the same way until I read the manga. I love the series so much but there is absolutely no way to condensed 60 pages a chapter into a 21 min anime. The hate is saddening but expected. The series can be pretty creepy when not given the right amount of info like, read the manga please since the anime isn't doing Haru and Ren's relationship, development justice. I love this series so much and I'm not even a bl/boyxboy/yaoi/shounen-ai fan so I was pretty damn surprised to have fallen so hard for this series. It's just so...Unique to me. As long as this stays popular in Japan, I could care less about most western or well, views and opinions from close minded people. Not implying that all of the people creeped out by it are westerners but the usual argument I see is the age gap which isn't a big deal in other parts of the world. At least from what one of my friends said how in her country 14 is the usual age for said relationships or something like that. I need to speak with her again. Very enlightening to learn about other cultures and laws on dating/age of consent/adults/minors etc etc. I think that's what I like about this series too, I learned more about other parts of the world (by researching how early IS too early) considering I'm from America ahaha. Anyway, I dig this series and sincerely hope it gets a second season or faster manga updates. Best of luck to Abe! |

The progress of their relationship is even more slow in the manga and like you said it's impossible to put 60 pages a chapter in 21 minutes, but i find it weird that they made the anime so short, i mean 10 episodes but ugh let's wait, right? i'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt, they better fix up that crappy animation for the next chapter tho |

I saw Haru and I was like damnnnn, why are you so pretty? What are your eyes?? My favorite character at first was Ren but now Haru and Ren are just tied on my list. I had really hoped SL would get like 12 episodes but it's a bl so of course it won't be treated like action/drama other kinds of series. Still, I absolutely can't wait for the OVA, I am clueless as to what it will be about. |

Best of luck to Abe! yup exactly, even if the anime really (up till now) has followed the manga accurately, it certainly is impossible to understand it all just by watching the 10 episodes, on the other hand if this gets a second season i can already picture what it will be about and honestly it will just get worse, i also have a feeling that nothing is what it seems here, i don't know... there's something else? i still don't know what... but there's definitely something else. The progress of their relationship is even more slow in the manga and like you said it's impossible to put 60 pages a chapter in 21 minutes, but i find it weird that they made the anime so short, i mean 10 episodes but ugh let's wait, right? i'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt, they better fix up that crappy animation for the next chapter tho I love series that take their time, really builds character but I'm not a fan of super slow ones like Kimi Ni Todoke, at least from what my friends have said, it was pretty frustrating until it got to the kiss part like 100 chapters later or something. There's actually a joke my friend and I keep making and it's that all the budget went to Haru's hair and that episode 9 is gonna be lit but I don't know. They better be saving the budget for some amazing animation like, please. As for a second season, hmm I'm still on the fence cause I really think they're gonna end it on a cliffhanger but I don't know, maybe we'll get an anime only ending. ** same haha gosh i fell in love with haru in the first episode and it wasn't even the character development or how they introduced him, it was the fact that he looked so pretty i was like: damn why is he so pretty lol so this episode really left me a bittersweet aftertaste. yes, i think so, they either end it on a cliffhanger or end it definitely, i just hope they won't rush it, after all they are covering up just one small part of the series with the anime, this makes me feel anxious Okay but honestly....Same. ** i honestly wasn't expecting much of the anime, even the title was unappealing to me at first but then i thought why not? and then i gave it a try, to be honest i finished watching the first episode thanks to the great animation and all those beautiful colors it was sooo nice, but then up till now i really don't have a character in this anime whom i would call my favorite, that's why i started reading the manga... in my opinion the anime doesn't allow you to have a wide perception of all the characters, in the manga you can fall in love even with the twin brothers and their personality, while in the anime they don't really have a deep development, so... man really i think this isn't that kind of anime you can start without having some information to begin with, first of all it will unsettle you and secondly you won't really feel the connection at all. i really hope something good is comming, let's hope things won't get messed up |

Haru's a piece of shit, I don't understand what people see in him... Ren's too good for him honestly. Also the animation was laughably bad in this episode. Haru's face looked so off-model almost all the damn time. |

Yep! Kind of sucks how people write Haru off as an ass and such when literally his whole past and thought processes are explored more in the manga. I definitely agree that people would need some kind of background info before watching this series. |

Yay, I knew right away that the café will be White Fang. <3 Loved the episode. Loved the car scene where Haru asked Ren to call him brother. <3 Loved those moments where Haru was jealous. <3 |

The harassment and manipulation continues with possessive outbursts, neck kiss marks and car caressing 😶 White Fang is inaugurated but IT'S A TRAP 💜 I had doubts on Ren's tomboy schoolmate tbh didn't expect girlboss to be a trickster. |
