THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ah so that's when Sanji escaped back then...I'm somewhat surprised that Judge didn't stop him. What a background story though, I feel pretty bad for him after everything he's been through. Lol, fat Luffy? |

Damn another great chapter and lol Luffy strategy to eat all the soldiers xD. Anyway we all knew Reiju would be the one to free Sanji and glad it happens.I think for now only Reiju can have redemption.Nice to see Sanji's mom and Reiju looks totally like her :) |

Such a great and emotional chapter, I don't know, Sanji's backstory really got to me. Kept tearing up. T.T Sanji was imprisoned for 6 months and still pursued cooking. The scene with him walking in the rain and taking food to his Mom was just so poignant because it was kind like a memory to him inside his confinement to still pursue cooking. :( Nice that his Mom supported him. I'm glad Reiju had the heart to help him escape. Kinda weird though, Judge wanted to disown Sanji but he didn't cause he had his so called humanity, But shouldn't the so called humanity also make him stop Sanji from leaving cause well he's his son, He even denounced Sanji right to his face. So can you say Judge actually had some humanity in him? The panel with Reiju saying "One day you'll definitely meet people who'll treat you the way you deserved to be treated" is just so heartbreaking, yet I'm kinda happy at the same time since Sanji became part of the StrawHats. The bittersweet feelings are so real. Interesting to note that Robin and I think Chopper too had the exact same lines spoken to them when they were kids. That ending was funny, Luffy's endless pit of a stomach is put to good use. XD |

As expected, Reiju was the only one who actually gave a shit about Sanji, and she even helped him escape, but she played along so she wouldn't become a victim as well. Her goodbye to him was pretty emotional. It was cool to also see why he was motivated to become a chef, as well as how he heard of All Blue. I kept wondering why Judge even bothered to keep Sanji alive, so it's surprising to see how an asshole like him still had some decency to not dispose of his "disgraceful" son. Lol Luffy is just eating all of Cracker's biscuit soldiers. Typical. |

WOW Great chapter. Sanji's childhood is so freaking sad. Getting quite emotional over this. Sanji's Mom is so beautiful. So this is where he started learning to cook. Well Reiju helped Sanji escape back then. YAY!! Luffy out of Gear 4th, but he is eating biscuits. Lets see how long this will take. |

Honestly that last page with Reiju really did piss me off, she knew how Sanji reacted when Jaji said that he has control over Zeff's life but she still says shit like "it's just some restaurant owner you used to work with, why do you care so much?" I really thought I was starting to like her but I don't know.. To hear those lines out of her mouth really did piss me off. |

My feels just got destroyed... ;_; Reiju is a legend. Although he's a prick, at least Judge gave Sanji a chance at maybe having a real life, at least until he needed him for something of course. |

Meh Some of you might see Reiju helping Sanji adorable and lovely. Sure it is.. but its completely Pity and Its very obvious, even to the present she doesn't back him up against her brothers but cleans up his mess. Just wait for the utter truth to come out when she really says it... Besides that a good and sad chapter once again but Luffy eating habit kept me laughing lol |

It's easy to see since the start that Judge loves his son and doesn't want him to be killed but at the same time he has to look tough. If you look at it this way it makes sense. Judge stopped the training of Sanji because he would have died, then he let him escape in the confusion so he could live a normal life somewhere but now that the world government wants him dead because he is a pirate his father uses his power to change the "Dead or alive" for "Alive only" and tries to marry him to a cute girl with a powerful mama so he won't ever have any problem in his life. Not that his father is especially sentimental, he is a tough warrior, but he is still his father and he cares for his son. |

Great chp. Momji is soooo cute <3 That was such a heartwarming scene :*) Gotta love Reiju man. Her breaking Sanji out and telling him to find the people that will appreciate him was sweet. Still can't wait to see what she does in the present timeline. I'm sure she'll be on his side but how. Really can't wait to see who her VA will be in the anime His brothers are absolute trash holy shit. Even after 6 months, the instant they see him, they btfo out of him wtf??? The Judge hugging them scene was kinda cute tbh, still f'd up Was kinda surprised tbh, seeing Judge being the one who told Sanji to go. What a fuck face wanting him back to complete these negotiations with Big mom. It was really interesting seeing how they climbed the Red line tho. So cool :O Luffy never disappoints LMAO. Really didn't expect them to still be going at it for 11 hrs tho |

Best chapter of One Piece I've read all year. The scene with Sanji's mother really stirred dem feels. Can't believe there still are Reiju haters lurking around. The Luffy vs Cracker fight took an unexpected turn. The way Devil fruit abilities are crafted in the series one can turn the tide of the battle by taking advantage of it despite the power gap. Feels+Comedy. This chapter encompasses what we all love about OP. |

That was a very strong chapter.Sanji kept pursuing cooking in the dungeon and even went to his mother, with such a bad weather just to ask her taste his cooking. After all this,he decided to be a cook and study harder to achieve his dream.Reiju helped him escape, because she cared about him,but didn't want to be bullied as well. His father let him go,because he doesn't care about him anymore and disowns him.In the battlefield,Reiju bid farewell to Sanji, while he was running away. After all this,we have Luffy who ate all the biscuit soldiers lol.You just cannot fight Luffy with a power, which is based on food. xD |

wow this chapter is awesome, Reiju's words to Sanji really remind me when Sauro said the same words to Robin, so after all judge has "a little" humanity... that Luffy's part is so funny XD... |

Man, I felt incredibly sorry for Sanji throughout this chapter considering how much he had to go through. Reiju is the only kind one in the Vinsmoke family. The scene with Sanji and his mum was very cute because I was always curious about how Sanji got inspired to cook. I literally knew Luffy was going to eat those biscuits. LOL. 5/5. |

What a chapter, it is 3 chapters that except stayed in one place, that could be a record for Oda, normally it goes from plot to plot and back in a chapter, I prefer to stay with one plot and go to another plot when the story flow into it. We see Sanji's mother, I thought from last chapter Sanji's mother died when he was a baby. She looks so much like Reijiu but I will get to that later. I have to wonder did Judge ever love her at all, was her death made him think she was weak and hides that pain with anger and contempt with her and Sanji? Maybe I am giving him too much credit. And if confirmed that Reijiu is or at least was back than a decent person, and I am glad and more glad now that I have seen Sanji's mom. Can you imagine if she was like Sanji's brother, a person like Neji having the face of Sanji's beloved mother would just be too much for Sanji to bare. I do wonder if Reijiu have any type of relationship with her mother, maybe some of her kindness rubbed off on her, young Reijiu she is totally a Tsukane or however you spell that. I think the reason Sanji gives Reijiu the cold shoulder is out of disappointment that after all these years she is still with these scum bags, Sanji is probably thinking "you are better than this". Reijiu was the one who let Sanji go and her last words go find someone who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated, that was so heart wrenching and it is going to look great in the anime. It reminds me of Robin's mother's friend that sacrificed himself for Robin. And Judge letting Sanji do as he pleases, as long as he never tells anyone they are related, I am sure Sanji thinking was "right back at you." So Luffy and Cracker still going on, this fight needs to be settled soon, Sanji is about the tie the knot and can't wait for the Sanji / Pudding meeting. We will find out for sure if Pudding is good or bad depending on how she acts around Sanji. |

Pretty good chapter altough Sanji getting beaten by his brother is quiet repetitive, well that's the reality though, Sanji always getting beaten by those bastard as a kid.... Sanji backstory with her mother is surprising short, I thought it would be longer, or maybe Oda left it for another time... :3 So The Vinsmoke Siblings (except Sanji) is so strong that even as a child they could bend a steel? And no one gonna mention how they climb the Red Line with their Snail Ship??? :3 |

That was a really good chapter. Judge is a dick but he still couldn’t bring himself to harm Sanji? Interesting, I wonder how long Judge had this plan to marry into Big Mom’s family? I ask this because Reiju said in chapter 826 that they had been looking for Sanji pretty much since he left. I really liked Reiju’s character before and this chapter reinforced that feeling. Seeing Sanji’s mom was great and the way she ate his horrible food was touching. His mom looks similar to Reiju, I am guessing the eyebrows have to do with their genetic modifications or they got them from Judge. I was right about Luffy and Cracker still fighting 11 hour later. Though it’s been Fight…run…eat…repeat…for the last 11 hours…lol. That’s still some amazing stamina for both of them. Cracker is tougher than people wanted to give credit to I think the Cracker vs. Doflamingo debate will spark back up now that we have some good information on both parties. Since it’s now 11 hours later I think it’s safe to assume that eh Vivre card isn’t going to be their ticket out of the Seducing Woods. |

If you go back to chapter 826 when Luffy first meets Reiju and Yonji, notice how Reiju reacts when Luffy proclaims that he wants Sanji--his friend--back. Reiju seems genuinely happy and relieved that Sanji somehow ended up finding a group of people that really, truly care for him. |

SANJI'S MOM!! O_O ...ah...Me thinks she is the Reason Sanji does not Kick Ladies? ...what a Cute Bond between Mother and Son...Sanji is a Mamma's boy huh? XD and Reiju did inherit her Mother's looks. And There goes any theories I had that Judge did Made Sanji and his Sibling same way as those Clone Soldiers...Clones....Sanji's mother changes that Theory. ....Reiju....Sigh...She is a Somewhat good Sister, but not the best...but Understand that she would not want to be next Victim.....Reiju so far is redeeming herself as in My eyes..she did not Help Sanji when bullyin was on...but she Help him when it was over...50-50 I say...she is good person...but also Human... and she helped him escape......Rest of The Family can Rot...Reiju and Sanji are only ones that are good. |

Well, I'm truly glad I was wrong about Reiju... she's proven that she's a good person. I was seriously touched when she shed tears for Sanji. I really wonder where things will progress from here with her... hopefully things end up well for Reiju. And leave it to Luffy to come up with another ridiculous way to fight his enemy. Didn't even cross my mind that he'd settle for devouring him, lol. short_review said: Ehh, at first I was gonna call bullshit... but I guess I could see this being true, to an extent. Seems odd that he would be the one to say "Never tell anyone you're related to me." only to later turn it around and use it against him. But I guess I've seen a similar situation in my life, so it wouldn't be that farfetched to think that he really just told him that so that no one would target him because of who his father is.It's easy to see since the start that Judge loves his son and doesn't want him to be killed but at the same time he has to look tough. If you look at it this way it makes sense. Not that his father is especially sentimental, he is a tough warrior, but he is still his father and he cares for his son. Nonetheless, despite his intentions I don't think what he did before the escape was nearly as humane as death would've been. He let his sons constantly beat him close to death, only to be mended back to normal, and let it happen all over again. Then he turns around and locks him in a deep cell where no one really knows he's there, for 6 months. He did continue to feed him fine meals, but I really don't see where his good will was going with that... because if Reiju didn't save him, his brothers would've eventually murdered him or he would've just sat in that cell for his entire life. I also think he truly is using him as a tool here... so if he is showing tough love, he's still only doing it because it's two birds with one stone. In it's own insane way though, it's not unlikely... I had a friend who's father used to bash his face through their walls all the time... and when he finally died he acted like he had always been a good father to him, and apologized and they reconciled. So hey, who knows maybe he's got a little bit of fatherly goodness in him. Still don't think it's redeeming though. |

He ate them...! Not once did it occur to me he would eat them...! I cannot wait for the Vinsmokes to all get Duval'd. I hate them so much! Seeing judge hug the other children while locking Sanji away for six months with an iron mask really disgusted me. They even went to his cell to beat him. And then Judge tells him he's free to leave as he's the biggest blemish of his life and to never associate himself with the Vinsmokes. How cruel! Reiju at least had the empathy to understand how cruel they were being to him, but I still get the feeling being around the Vinsmokes has rubbed off on her quite a bit more than we've seen so far so I don't know what to think of adult Reiju at the moment. Also, their mother was so cute. That's where Reiju gets her looks from. |

So Sanji loves them women because in his childhood the only persons who cared about him where his mother and his sister? I really don't Sanji's family at all. Reiju is doing fine, but the others are just too mean. Judge probably will redeem himself and explain everything he has done in the future, but till there I'll just hate him. The part where Sanji feeds his mother with "bad food" reminds me of Chopper's flashback and Reiju's freeing him from the cage reminds me of Saul from Robin's flashback also :'( And also Nami was an orphan from a war right?
