Looks like the Full Moon Festival themed episode. Arguably the best episode of the series for its performance and style.

Well for what's worth, they really did come prepared!

OP songs (OP scenes w. audiences' cheer) and ED songs in live! Looking back at the past eps. in Nenchuu, Nenchou, and Nenshou groups.

Continuing with live. Two groups' song = Tsuki no Uta. (ツキノウタ。). ED credit revealed it before the performance.

Well, basically a 23 min concert with OPs + EDs and some talks about their previous experiences. Tsuki no Uta was a pretty good song and the CGI was nice to watch.

A solid 7/10. I think it could have been better if there had been more focus on the main goal from the start instead of having so many "hey lets do fun stuff at the villa!" episodes. Like, B-Project wins at this, they had more character focused episodes without making it seem like filler (but then B-Pro fucks up at the end so yeah).

Yeah, I'm really happy with how things ended. The music in this show is phenomenal and it really shows in this episode. I'm just sad that we have to wait like 6 months for the EDs to be released ;_;

This Anime was the best animated CGI in all the idol Anime I've seen so far and that says a lot as I've seen all the male idol series and a few female idol ones lol. Also, this series has the BEST music in all the idol series I've ever followed including CD-Only series. I mean, it is Tsukino Project after all.

If anyone's interested in Tsukiuta music, shoot me a PM and I'll send you my collection. I have all the songs (minus female tsukiuta singles).

at this point i kinda stopped watching after episode 3 but that was a pretty good last episode for what it's worth, staying true to the Goal.

2d performances were pretty basic but the CGI finale was perf, easily the best performance i've seen in boy idol shows and a pretty good competitor against Season 4 Aikatsu. (i think its better than Pri para which is already a great accomplishment).

7/10

Well that was a really good ending to this series! I really enjoyed all the music and liked how each member has his own style when it came to the solo performances.

Even though the individual episodes were seemingly all over the place and it didn't seem like it was focused on anything in particular, I really enjoyed this!

Solid 7/10!

Now I just need to look more into the music of Tsukiuta!
So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS!

The series may not be very good, but the songs are AWESOME! And Tsuki no Uta didn't disappoint at all!
So, are then Hajime and Shun canon? In my mind they are

I loved it! Just sad that the series is over. I really liked the CGI field throughout the episode and the characters sang their ED songs. This was a very good series overall and not like a typical idol anime. That's what I really liked about it. It wasn't singing in every episode and they actually had more plot. 10/10 for the series for me.

Not gonna lie, I really liked this approach to an ending. Got to see each of them individually shine, saw them dance as a group and there were even funny talking corners.

(And of course we got Shun diclaring his love for Hajime! xD I gotta love how Hajime shows no reaction)

I'm gonna miss Tsukiuta.

One thing that put it apart from other all-male cast is that it eliminated the annoying presence of the female mc that almost always (actually let's just go with always) is completely flat with no personality (wtf were those trash females in B-Project, Amnesia, Diabolik Lovers, UtaPri and Brothers Conflict--omg the Diabolik Lovers mc is in a class of her own tho).

Edit: let me throw in Kamigami no Asobi too, she wasn't as bad as the above but really she was :/

This is like... first anime were I liked CGI xD

That final song performance, was so cool!
I loved how every character have chance to shine on stage!
And finally one series showed full concert instead one final song.
These talking corners was cool, too!

Yeah, I love every little thing in this episode!
Hope there will be second season! <3

I was gonna give 7/10 but I'm conflicted now with how much I loved this last episode.

Well the last episode concert wasn't as exciting as say, ShoHolly's was, mostly because we heard all of the songs as EDs already so there wasn't anything new or especially exciting about the performances. But I did like Tsuki no Uta, it was very fun to watch and the choreo was great :) Most of the Tsukiuta songs sound quite average imo (I like the ones from the duet series the most), but Tsuki no Uta is one of the better ones.

I agree the villa episodes kinda detracted from my experience with the series, although I really did like the character specific episodes in the beginning. If only it was like that for the rest of the anime.

Pretty sure I've listened to everything they've listed on their site, excluding the male x female duet series and the recent female summer releases ^^ It's probably just a different taste in music, most of the songs I've found to not be memorable (therefore average in my mind), and at least 1/4 of the songs I flat out don't like. I prefer songs from Tsukipro's ALIVE series, by both groups SOARA and Growth. I guess I wouldn't call myself a fan of the idol genre, in which the ALIVE series are less idol-like. I only found out about Tsukiuta through Kaji Yuuki, haha. Been following Tsukiuta's CD releases since the first one X)

Oh yeah, I like Growth more too :') They have more complex music. SOARA is kinda average though if compared to Tsukiuta/Growth.

For Tsukiuta, I mostly like Yoru, Hajime, Kai's music the most and duets.

The ending is good and the new song is nice too. Gotta love the lyrics! Kinda reminds me of One Chance.

Aaannd my dream for other units like ALIVE and SolidS to make cameo appearance is crushed QAQ but it's okay.. at least Egutaku's doll and one of Growth's seiyuu are in the anime lol

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this anime. I haven't watched that much idol anime but I think it's quite realistic. The only thing I'm quite disappointed is the art and animation. Except the cg, the animation is stiff and awkward and the art quality is not that consistent... and I still can't get over with Kai's hair anime ver

At least we agree on Growth XD Their sound is definitely unique. SOARA is the kind of average I like, lol. They're mostly upbeat and feel-good. Although I have to say, their Kaze-hen song beats Growth's for once, imo ofc.

Hmm, I like Arata, Aoi, and Yoru's songs. Can't really remember about Hajime's songs though. Glad we also agree on the duets! Those are my favorites, most of them are really memorable and I listen to them a lot.

Like everyone Tsuki no Uta was a great song to end it, and I cannot get over how great the CGI dancing is. I can't remember where I learnt it, but the characters' live-stage counterparts danced their parts, so that explains why the movements don't look like MMD.

Since all of the song producers are vocaloid producers, I have a general bias. Though there were some which weren't the best i.e. Satsuki Aoi -- KENN's song by Nem.

Otherwise, although half the episodes they had were kinda boring, I quite enjoyed it. At least the characters aren't trauma boys from B-project.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing the full versions in like, half a year... ugh.

Now THIS is how idol anime should end! Utapri had concerts too but it was one song per band and they were too supernatural, but THIS is exactly like a true stage. The final song and choreography were spot on and other anime should be taking lessons! Glad that the final epi was so interesting instead of the usual cliche drama/happy ending. I will it a 5 cause in general it was average or below average, but I was considering to give it a 4 so it's an upgrade cause of the latest epi :D

Putting the concert in the last episode is the best decision! This is how idol anime supposed to be. I really like the CGI. Tsuki no Uta performed by both team in the end is awesome.

Tsukiuta is not overdone like some idol series (ie Love Live). It was kinda just... musical.

The song were sort of corny, but I can;t deny it is super catchy.

I honestly hated how every character fit into this stereotypical mold that was created for them. Character development really was a low. But the borderline BL really made up for it.

I have mixed feelings towards this..
I like the concept of "full concert" to end the series.
But I hate the lazy animation used for the solo medleys..
But... I love Tsuki no Uta a lottt <3 <3 the song is catchy, the dance choreography is beautiful, powerful performance, the CGI is really detailed. this is the first time in my life I can appreciate full CG dance compared to say, Love Live's) since the concert hall backdrop and the audience are made in full CG as well so it doesn't feel out of place.

I give this show a 7/10!

The strong point of this show is the songs and as a show about idol groups, they really delivered in that area. Their Gravitic Love, LOLV and Tsuki no Uta songs are so damn memorable and catchy. All of their voices are so amazing and in sync when they sing the chorus together - they sound like actual idols! I'm really going to miss the Shakin' Sugar Sugar and Hirahira to now that I've finished the show..I didn't really pay attention to the character eds but I really like the melody of Hajime's. Yoru's and Shun's.

The show had a simple concept - it tells about two idol groups who are preparing for their joint concert while it shows the daily lives of the idols. It had direction and it didn't try to over-complicate the plot. It also had continuity (e.g. when Iku chased after their president who was in a moving car, Midaduki attending their joint concert). All the characters are likeable. My favourite characters are Shun and Hajime, and I'm definitely going to miss these two the most.

But, I feel like the show lacks depth. It's too ordinary and some episodes were boring and plain. I sometimes had to convince myself to see through till the end of the episode like the Yoru & You episode. I also could feel the animation quality deteriorating as the show progressed.

My favourite episodes are eps 6, 7, 11 and the ep when they gave a tour of the Procellarum and Six Gravity dorms. If more eps had that same feeling as those eps, I think the show will be more interesting to watch?

Still, it's a nice show with great songs that are worth listening repeatedly. And thanks to this show, I learn what are the months in Japanese lol (e.g. Mutsuki = January, Kisaragi = February etc)

Damn, i never believed they did a full duration concert on their last episode. Its kinda new at my sight, to be honestly. The last unity song was quite catchy on my ears. So, yeah, these end kinda had a complex feeling at the end. Because, yeah, some filler talk at the stages, and more importantly with some reuse animation and art to fill the gap kinda lame and bored me while waiting at their last bang. The transition over the new single song of them kinda weird too for me, it not fitted in the right moment. So, yeah, overall these episode surely had a mixed feels at the end.

Detail scores for these first season:
Story and characterization: 5
I don't find any attachable story at their journey before their last concern. So far, the most highlighted where the ghost haunted one of their member. Its kinda touched my feeling, for a while. Other than that, just a complete bland, together with its character personality. I am sorry to say this. But, this series seemed to bet all of their direction at its last, not for the entirety
Art, animation: 7
At general, there were some lack animation details, and some bad art i found out here and there. The only think that interesting me, surely their choreography at the stages, using a nice direction of a 3DCG. Other than thats, its a complete average.
Sounds: 7
Idk about this groups. But, so far, Tsukiuta song was my best. Everything else still in my low rate. So, its enough to give this at my 7
Enjoyment: 7
Not much i can say. Its had a boring side, ofc, while the better situations surely attached at their last episode. Its good, overall. No more than that.
General score, using my standard averaging scores, i give this series: 6.5/10

Thats it for me.
Let see how well they handled the next season.

This was a very good first season, even though some of the episodes were a little boring. That stormy night episode and the one with the girls were probably my favorites.
