Which is better? I liked One Punch Man and the chemistry between Saitama and Genos. They are really great characters! Things got so good when Saitama joined the Hero Organization and I think that was all the plot One Punch Man needed. How Saitama is so strong and could care less what others think that he shows up all the other big bag of hot air heroes with one punch on an equally big bag of hot air monster was always a funny joke and really entertaining. How does Mob Psycho 100 compare in action, character, comedy, and or plot?

Action is a bit on the light side, though when it goes, it goes all in, but plot/characters are far and above beyond (even if the anime did condense a lot of the side characters to just the bare essentials to be coherent compared to the manga taking it's time to develop them or using bonus omakes to squeeze in development that didn't fit into the current arc).

The comedy is subjective as to specifics but similar.

OPM eventually gets to Mob Psycho's level but the manga version is only just getting to that part. ONE did take advantage of the redraw to expand some of the earlier parts of One Punch Man, after his work on Mob Psycho and Makai no Ossan gave him a better idea of how to write for OP characters, but it's still somewhat constrained by the flow of the Original version and doesn't really begin to expand until the parts after the anime covered.

In OPM you see saitama a guy who is soo overpowered that he is bored as hell with his life since he has no good opponents, and thing is one punch man was not focused much on character development till garou arc but the twist in OPM character development is that its not the hero who undergoes changes but its people around him lol. saitama is same ever since he was introduced in first chapter that's the fun part ....

But mob psycho 100 is very different because ONE has dedicated everything to character development, here you see a guy scared of his powers (you'll know in future episodes why) to the point that he has compressed his emotions fearing that he'll do something if things go south and has absolutely no friends except his master. slowly he starts making friends and starts taking things seriously for himself and people around him, you'll see him start from being small shy caterpillar to big fat caterpillar with friends at the point where i am in manga ...

That's how MPO differs from OPM, people just see the OP character part and assume that there is no difference between two series but no I can tell you that's bullcrap, these two series has nothing in common except main characters being OP..

Action is definitely amazing in both series, i cant say which is better though!!

Comedy wise OPM was a parody gag manga making fun of typical shonen content to begin with but MPO is little different every moment it involves reigen is just comedy gold other than that there is small gags involved which is good but it compares no where to OPM in terms of comedy though because situations involved and scenarios are very different in both..

In the end both are great series watch both lol!!

Yeah, as much as I love OPM, I have to admit, that Mob Psycho is pretty much the better show, definitely in terms of story and characters. You might need a short while to get used to the artstyle but when you do, you'll likely appreciate how well it's animated - some of the action scenes are so good I rewatched them like 20 times.
The comedy is similar due to the same author but in terms of jokes I'd give a slight edge to Mob. The music in OPM is better in my opinion but Mob has some great tracks too.

Well Mob Psycho has more of an actual story and in turn better character development. But OPM has much more interesting characters and way better comedy

Depends a bit on what you're looking for but I think OPM was good from the very beginning whereas Mob Psycho didn't really get going for real until about episode 7 so overall I still think OPM is better

One Punch Man get's kind of boring after episode ONE. Jokes were to predictable. Only the fights will keep you entertained. DBZ fans will like OPM.

mob psycho 100 develops a bit more of a plot later on. The last episode is unpredictable. So it needs a season 2.

Also Regain > Genos
Genos the cyborg might look cool but gets his ass kicked all the time.
Regain mob's master stays funny and bad ass till the very end. The greatest character ONE ever created. XD

If I had to say in an objective or more critical manner, neither is better than the other overall. They are both fantastic, lively, hilarious but with a deeper meaning anime. The only differences are is that while OPM has a bit more action, Mob Psycho 100 has a bit more character development, and Mob Psycho 100 is a bit more wacky or weird compared to OPM.

Subjectively and in my opinion, I like OPM a bit more, but that's because it's more comedy and parody based, and I do love comedy the most. Regardless, I gave them both 8s. Both have great action, characters, music, visuals, animations, and a clear plot.

Based on the anime alone, I feel that Mob Psycho is far better in every respect compared to OPM, especially when it comes to characters and story. There is more emotional weight in Mob Psycho as well.

Mob is definitely better than OPM except for the concept which in OPM was something really new.
However mob has better action, comedy, characters, animation, story and it was more fun than OPM.

OPM is a masterpiece of over-the-topness.

Mob was good, but nothing too great. Too slow for my tastes. The brothers were depicted quite fine, they felt like siblings more than many others in fiction.

They are only share the same author but both story's approach is quite different. OPM was superhero parody driven with wild ride and energy while MOB is coming of age stories.

Both has its upside and down. OPM has glorious production value and energy but lacks narrative and character progression, while MOB has something that OPM doesn't have but gets a slow start as the first three episodes are just episodic "defeating monster this weeks" type of story and the plot-driven starts when at ep 5 if my memory does correct.

I'd say if you want something fun mindless show with superb animation go with OPM but if you want serious one go with MOB.

Bottom Line : Don't compare.

The manga's been out and fairly popular since 2013 at the very least
"I like young-girl sexual creations, Lolicon is just one hobby of my many hobbies," he says.
I ask what his wife, standing nearby, thinks of his "hobby".
"She probably thinks no problem," he replies. "Because she loves young boys sexually interacting with each other."

Well, the manga for it is the first time I read a manga and realized that manga can be as enjoyable as anime, even without colours and music and whatnot. However, even the anime has already given me nostalgic moments. It's the first anime where I watched the first episode raw to see how good it was and the first time I saw an adaption which surpassed the source material that I had already read. I also have memories of after watching the episode, downloading it and going to school the next day to watch it with friends. And then watching it again when it came out subbed in HD. I also remember getting heaps excited, from scenes like the Boros fight. So yeah, despite the anime coming out not too long ago, I already do have nostalgia with it.

Thank you. xD

Oh, alright then. I can understand that.

And yes, I did, though I forgot to rate it until now. Gave it a 7 since that means Good, which is how I felt about it. Wish I could give it a 7.5, though, my true score. I have some gripes with it, like some episodes having quite a good number of things that felt either rushed or forced to me, but still, I thought it was an enjoyable anime overall and liked how it ended despite how cheesy quite a good number of people here found ending, and if they make another season someday, I would definitely look forward to it. I know that character in your signature. An entertaining character to me, and tbh, at times I find him funny (especially in episode 15), though he kind of annoys me at times as well, due to his very frequently insane yells.

Quite different, I would say. Enjoyed them both.

One punch man is a lot more action packed, Mob psycho has fewer battles, one of the reasons why they also feel more intense and for me the fights in Mob felt like they mattered, like there was a stake in the battles. I think there is a lot more focus on the characters in Mob Psycho, plenty of characters get some development throughout the series which I found quite impressive, considering it's only 12 episodes.

Also, Reigen! The man of legends!

Both have this kind of an overpowered main character who doesn't care and it produces a lot of funny situations in battles than other shounen take seriously.

I like both equally, animation and art are better in OPM, but characters are better in Mob Psycho. OPM is the more funny show though, but in MP we also have Reigen who is hilarious.

How's Mob Psycho 100 compared to One Punch Man?
Well, the animation quality in Mob Psycho 100 is astronomically better (Even compared to the above average animation of One Punch Man), the characters are even more endearing and likable, but if you take Mob Psycho 100 as a raw series of events, it has issues. There are many plot holes, and occasional inconsistencies.

That said:
- Both are quite amazing
- I prefer Mob Psycho 100
- They're both objectively better than each-other

Also, I should note. The sub for One Punch Man is better than the dub (This was based on second hand accounts, but now that I've seen the dub to completion I can assert that the dub and sub are about equal in quality), whereas the dub of Mob Psycho 100 is better than the sub, and not by any small margin. So be prepared for that.

It's also worth noting that there are a lot of similarities trademark to One's writing style.
- Both are heavily subversive (Superhero Movies/Self-Insert Power Fantasy Anime)
- Both have some great moments of comedy
- Both aren't plot driven narratives, but character driven
