@Reload: No I think he'll spare the elves. For one they were slaves and two they are heteromorph with a HUGE grudge to take out on the Slane Theocracy
Exactly, but Ainz has to consider their usefulness to Nazarick. I can see they have some information regarding the Slane Theocracy from being slaves, but Ainz might be ignorant of that or have plenty of info on Slane Theocracy already. They could become new support for Hamsuke since the lizardmen are training her and the fact that she is the one who defeated their master. I doubt they'd be against supporting the Virtuoso King of the Forest if Ainz has no use for them.

To think that elitist believed he could take on a dragon. Lesson: don't overestimate yourself just because you can defeat a few monsters that haven't even reached their full strength. It seems many humans in this world have lived out their lives ignorant of the full strength of other species. Well, a level 100 human would have to be brought from Yggdrasil to see if they could even compare. Brain should probably stop comparing himself to Shalltear since she's a vampire who doesn't even need to fight with a sword. As for Sebas, the same though humans shouldn't compare themselves to level 100 NPCs to begin with. He seems to be the best swordsman in the story if we're only comparing humans of this world. I don't know the whole story behind the heroes yet, so I don't know if any of them were really what one could call humans of this world. Throwing in other species when comparing one's strength is just using a different scale imo. Brain shouldn't be using that scale. (sorry, went back a volume)

Anyhow, it would seem Ainz is making a fighting force of natives, so maybe we'll see if the natives can actually reach the level of beings from Yggdrasil. Well, Evileye was the best comparison so far. I only need continue reading. The side story came as a surprise, but I won't skip out.

This really leaves a bitter taste when reading. I can't help to feel bad to those adventurers especially Arche because of those epilogue(her sister is still waiting for her)

I guess when reading Overlord it just depends on different perspective. By human perspective killing a undead/cockroach is not a 'sin'. That also applies to Nazarick that human is just a lower form existence maybe lower than maggots that doesn't need to sympathize when killing.

Yes! A vol revolving around Nazarick and its denizens! Also, there seemed to be a group of new characters introduced to this vol, the first thing I thought was how they would end up dying no matter how detailed or seemingly important a character is introduced, nothing beat the supreme power of Nazarick and its denizens. But giving it the benefit of the doubt, I digress to see how the story revolves around them. It's only when they are foolish enough to plan to invade the Great Tomb of Nazarick that I'm fully sure of the nightmare approaching them. And the moment they stepped into the tomb, I just though [i]Welp, they're done for![/s] Especially when these Workers said it themselves to Momon that they're in it for the money. Even for Arche with her circumstances still won't make it justifiable to steal from Nazarick. Well as expected of the merciful supreme being, Ainz ordered her to be killed instead of being used for experiments like what happened to Roberdyk or being used as nests like what happened to Imina and his lover.

Nothing is not interesting about Nazarick, in addition to telling the audiences of Nazarick's defence, the workers also allow us the audience to know more of the structure of Nazarick, even if only the first floor was described. I like them for that purpose.

This vol is definitely not made to please everyone because aside from this MAL vol, other sites also have their share of people who really don't like this vol. Although one might call this vol unnecessary for the story, it definitely is important. Although this kind of evil for this vol is pretty 'pathetic' as some might accept. If you look at it in a way that this is merely a house owner swatting flies from entering their house of stomping gon maggots crawling to their house, the evil that is involved in this vol is entirely acceptable, no matter how trivial it seems.

Can somebody entertain me that in the intermission part, we just got an insight that an Yggdrasil player exists in this new world? That Platinum Dragonlord was a Yggdrasil player?

And no one is talking about it in this forum

Yep it still sucks to see it. Arche dying once again in the LN. Arche is one of my top 5 favourite female characters in Overlord and to see her die to my 1st favourite character sucks.

I much prefer the fate she gets in the webnovel where she lives and even eventually gets to live with her sisters in Nazarik. Sadly the anime and LN decided a different fate for her.

Well, next few volumes are gonna be 'ok' but probably not as good as this one. More focus on the village now.

I really liked the mention of Albedo's sister. Its weird to think theres an NPC that powerful in Nazarik. You'd think that wouldnt make sense or be possible in the game. Also Albedo is surely making that team so she can kill the other supreme beings if she ever finds them which is why she wants the most powerful NPC.

But yeah this volume/arc is definitely the definitive point you can say Ainz is the villain. Up until this point he hasnt killed innocence directly and chose the nicest options. But here he kills a team of innocence with no remorse at all.

Damn that Arche sister scene hits hard. Especially cause I know what happens to them. I thought that prologue might have been where we found out but I guess its a line later on in the series. (Unless the source from where I found out is just a comment from the creator)

Also, DRAGONLORD PLAYER?????? Well he's obviously not a player though cause theres no way players would be allowed to play as dragons but he's probably a friend of an old one. They did mention someone grieving over having to kill a player.

Anyway, the volume is finally finished. Yayyyy! The volume was pretty great and felt something different from other volumes, in the sense that we followed so many different characters. I think that in this volume, we followed the most number of characters.

Well, out of the many things that happened in this volume, the MOST important one is definitely the conversation between Zey and Ligritte. It basically confirmed that past players may have been isekai even before Ainz and The Great Tomb of Nazarick as well as its NPC. But why? We still don’t know. That mystery definitely makes things interesting. The dragonlord even knows of Yggdrasil, which makes me wonder about the developers of that game. Did they have something to do with anything? But THE MOST surprising thing was there exists a sword on par with a guild item, and the group, Drops of Red, possess an item from Yggdrasil. Like damn, that Big News. I guess it’s a very good thing that Albedo decided to create that special-ops force now. Maybe it could help them obtain that knowledge.

The second most important thing in this volume could be the literal fact that an NPC in Nazarick is even stronger than a fully equipped Ainz. That bad; if Rubedo, Albedo’s little sister, goes out of control, Nazarick is fucked.

On a different note, I felt pretty bad for Foresight. I don’t think they deserved to die, especially Arché since they weren’t doing it solely for the money. Her sisters will now suffer because of that fact, and in the worst-case scenario, that shit father sells them off so he could have more money. Damn, super sadge.

On a more lighthearted note though, Sebas and Tsuare likely went on a date to buy clothes or will be going to. Sebas x Tsuare is my favorite ship so far.
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.
