| So when I really like something I also like to actually buy the products and, was wondering if the SAO light novel was buy able in eglish? Or is it only available in japanese? |

| ^ i can understand how you feel, after i read the first volume, i wanted to continue the story with proper books because it was just awkward reading on my laptop continuously but I hhad searching for days to find a translated version of SAO and there wasn't any, basically it doesn't exist |

| If the anime has a lot of success you can expect to see english LN in no time. At least, that's how it usually works. An anime has a lot of success and in not time it's manga is coming out in english. I really hope that happens with all the volumes of SAO, would love to have the book! |

I would prefer the LN over the manga since the LN is the original and, even if the anime is successful we would probably have to wait a year or so to see a english sao LN :S |
| It's too bad that the English market has only a few LNs out right now such as Spice and Wolf and the Haruhi series. I'm surprised that other LNs like Bakemonogatari and SAO haven't been picked up yet, probably due to the unknown popularity of it here in the US or in other particular countries. All hope isn't lost though if you really want to read the novel in your hands(as a book I mean). You can wait for an indefinite period of time before a publishing company will say that they will publish these awesome books or you can try to make the book yourself using a self-publishing company like Blurb(it's pretty cool) or wait for someone to publish it. The latter isn't recommended though because it doesn't support the industry in any way but I mean, someone already made the first two books of Bakemonogatari and Fate/Zero ready to be bought. Btw, he used translations from Baka-Tsuki so it's good but it doesn't help the industry. |

I would never buy it from someone who simply downloaded a pdf and, had the book made. To me that's like giving money to someone free. I want to show my respect to the company by purchasing a product they offer. With that said I also want to be able to use the product so I won't buy the japanese version that is nothing more then a dust collector for me :S |

I'm currently reading it on my iPhone 4. Works very well. I like it. I guess the experience would be even better, though, on an iPad/other tablets. |

It's up to you I decided to start reading and am on chapter 18 I'm still going to watch and, enjoy the anime. |

| Unfortunately they don't officially TL many light novels yet... but there are many fan translations online. If you stilll want to purchase the books, you can just buy them in jap and read the translated version to help the industry anyway? Otherwise you can always start learning japanese! |

| On nyaa.eu are several torrents for volumes 1-12. As volume 13 has only been finished being translated yesterday, there isn't a complete v13 download yet. At least I didn't see it. :P Btw release of the first volume in English is the 22nd of April this year and I think I saw August 2014 as release date for volume 2. Definitely gonna buy them all. :P Too bad that it will probably take some years until every volume is out. :O |
