I was always interested in Ghost in the Shell but was confused on where to start. So there is an older version similar to Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood? And the movies version is just a condensed version of the original?
Which is the older version, which is the newer one? Obviously the movies version will be the movies.
And are there multiple season for them? I'm asking because I want to watch it without feeling like I'm missing part of the story by not watching the other versions.

Oh, and Plastic Memories seems like a good one.

Hey! So I finally got around to finishing Zetsuen no Tempest and I must say it was pretty good. I would give it an 8/10 only because the ending seemed rushed. It was all leading to something and that something ended really quick.
Animation, music, and story were good. :)

Thank you very much! I think I'll start with Zetsuen No Tempest since a few of the people I've asked here have recommended it, not just you.
I'm open to discuss other anime we have in common etc. or just anime in general. :)

I wouldn't know exactly what categories to place them in but I like martial arts anime and mystery anime.
Something like "Baki The Grappler" and "Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple" for fighting/martial arts anime and "Death Note" and "Steins Gate" for mystery/supernatural or however you would describe them. Honestly, the only way I'm exposed to anime is through Funimation's Youtube trailers and SOMETIMES peoples reviews, but it's hard to actually find what I'm looking for.
