what up with the AoT cover? looks bad, like fandmade or something.

Oh wow a shoujo on the list, that's kinda unusual.

I have to agree with you, it looks pretty plain. My least favorite cover from the series.

Nichijou huh. I've been considering giving it a shot for a while now.
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

Luckily Nichijou didn't drop too much, but Punpun's outta the list :(
But yeah, that AoT cover is terrible. Since it's a start of a new arc, and there's a good amount of epic moments so far, they had so many options to choose from >_<

Yeah agreed. It's a shame considering how good it is.

Who the hell continues to buy OPM volume 1, it's always on here. As much as I like it, how many people are just gonna buy the first volume?

It's standard practice in the US. Attack on Titan's first volume spent over 120 weeks on the list (probably much more), with 81 consecutive weeks. Naruto's first volume has more than 400k sales.

The fact we don't see series with airing anime rank is a bit worrying.

They need to make these people that watch only the anime get interested into reading the manga (in japan its almost common sense but in the West there are a lot of Anime Watchers that couldn't give a shit about the manga/Light Novel)

I don't think Japan really gives a shit about American manga readers, otherwise they would actively pursue more English Adaptations. We represent such a small group of readers we're a non-factor in their calculations.

I meant more like Crunchyroll and these companies that stream anime legally should pair up with english publishers(VIZ,YP etc) and advertise the manga/Light novels of the anime they are streaming. (Even though most of the time the manga of these series aren't always available for sale in english at the time of the anime but lately that trend has been changing)

3 vol sakamoto are out
4 vol Boku no hero academia are out
4 volTwin star Exorcist are out
Re:zero volume 1 will come out in july doubt many people know it.

Pirate sites also should do at least that much

Ahh I see what you mean. I think manga is beginning to be more commonly published in English and most of the popular stuff is fully adapted such as One Piece and Fairy Tail, but new airing shows are lacking and that's indeed an issue.
