| "Hotel Other Side"? Really? Why would you stay somewhere called that? Also, whilst this was predictable, the animals being the culprits was still ridiculous. How did they get their hands on the wife, anyway? She wasn't even with her husband. |
| Boooooo!!! What kept my attention was the spot on the left side of screen. I kept scratch my monitor thinking there was dirt on it, but it turned out to be a component of the "scratchy effect". |

| Good episode. Anyway, if something like the Zanbai episode was in season 2 or 3, I'm sure people would have been whining over it. And if this episode was in season 1, no one would have said anything bad about it. |

Besides the lack of the narrator, the only major change I have noticed compared to season 1 is that the episode endings after the big scare/reveal are expanded in season 3. Don't know if this change is for the better, but I think it makes the episodes feel more complete. |

| What happened Yami Shibai? This is getting way too predictable now. While the art style gives the scenes in this anime a very disturbing feel (especially that last scene), everything is so predictable now. There is no atmosphere nor tension. The great thing about the first season was the atmosphere and the tension. While the episodes in season one could be predictable, the payoff was great because the viewer was left with an abrupt ending that left it up to the viewer to interpret what they think happened to the victim. However this does the exact OPPOSITE. It worked in episode 2, as it provided a more disturbing payoff knowing the creature has done it to a mass of people and will lure others in using the face of the victim for an even higher death count. I can't say the same for these other episodes. Episode 1 could've done without the monster. It ruined the mood a bit. Episode 3 could've done without it as well. It looked silly and wasn't scary (though horror is subjective). I think this episode worked with it, however the execution of the rest of the episode is outright embarrassing because the viewer can so easily predict the outcome, and we don't get the abrupt ending anymore, getting too much information. ... I'm tired now. |

| One thing was in my mind at the time of the ending: How did they get their paws/claws/talons on the lady when she ran back to the hotel earlier? She never left I guess. Their worksmanship is pretty decent too. Making the stuffed attendant be able to talk like a robot~ |

| This is the first story that I actually enjoy, hopefully, it will set the tone from here on out for the remaining episodes. |
