| High schooler (I presume) + swordsman + mecha == not sure what to expect from this, but right now I’m not expecting too much. Looks like this might end up more of a miss than anything else, but hey! I hope I’m wrong. I mean, nowadays most anime originals based on mechas usually end up a mess and/or a disappointment, so…. Anyhow, key poster looks average and uninspiring for an anime original. The 30 sec PV was alright. It’s nice looking with explosions and other stuff happening, nothing different from lots of other short PVs based of action series. I’m good with the Director. I have mixed feeling about the Series Composition guy. The VA cast seems “fresh” which is always nice, so good luck to them. I don’t care about the Studio handling it; I’m indifferent when it comes to that as opposed as most of the users in this site. By the way, is the MC really a high schooler? Frankly, he looks more like a +28 years old annoying stuck-up punk (with lots of slashed scars in his arms, btw) than a high schooler..…. And the girls look like middle schoolers. |

| That main character is literally Mugen in high school. And of course in classic PA Works tradition, the females have to be high schooler bug-eyed aliens. They look so out of place, I don't get why they have to be in high school, besides obvious pandering reasons and PA Works not bothering to venture out of their comfort zone. At least they're doing a mecha show this time...Meh. For a 15th anniversary celebration project it's pretty underwhelming. Will wait to see more though. |

I'd say it depends on the nature of the series. If it's supposed to be "dark" then it's a no no from Okada, given that both M3 and Selector WIXOSS were...not so great. There were interesting ideas, but it felt like she was trying too hard. I was iffy about Okada doing Iron Blooded Orphans, another mecha, because of M3, but I realized that if it's not a dark series, it probably won't be terrible. She also worked on Aquarion Evol (mecha), and it wasn't too shabby either, it was enjoyable, but in a super cheesy way. The PV for Kuromukuro doesn't look like it'll be a dark series like M3 or WIXOSS, so I hope I'm right in that it won't be like those two series. | When are we getting a DB page? For those worried about the mecha/3DCGI deal, P.A.Works has been working with CGI for a while now, mostly with short commercials and promo videos, but we also had a glimpse of it in full scale with Tari Tari and Glasslip. They're also expanding the company in new separated studios, one of which is dedicated solely for CGI development and animation. I wouldn't expect nothing phenomenal right out of the blue, nor live 2D tech like Expelled from Paradise, but it's definitely worth checking it out. Also, they wouldn't risk fucking up the very own anniversary celebration series, so it's no terrible BUDGET CGI. Dude... stop fucking up with the credentials. Okamura is a god of Memories from a Wolf's Rain that is Darker than Black. |

The Mecha scenes seems more like a pretext for the usual PA woks' moe than anything else there. Hope I'm wrong, but the pv didn't look good to me at all. | Let me see how PA works deal with mecha CG is it gonna be a comet lucifer win, or just plain ol' suck Otherwise this PV did exactly what Aldnoah Zero did, explosions and epic choirs, will this live up to what mecha has to offer these past years that was not by sunrise. We have set the bar pretty low I'm afraid. |

| Well this is certainly going to be interesting. Would've never expected P.A. Works to announce an action mecha. They're one of my favourite studios so I'm hoping they can keep their usual high production values and great characters. |
