Which is why I used the term "treat me like" (nuance, eh), which the unecessarily harsh tone of your answer kindof suggests (i mean, you'd hardly ever use "literally what" as a reaction to a comment that you'd think makes sense, right?). I don't really see how your addition to Arcanix's original comment is supposed to be a follow up on what he says either, nor why you'd feel the need to ask me that "Is this manga so superficial that that's the only thing you thought of after reading it", when the post you're referring to really doesn't focus on that. :/ Now about the eye-licking etc., my guess would be that so many people talk about it because a large portion of the chapter (actually, the entire chapter) consisted of Eto fangirling hard over Kaneki. So the focus on EtoxKaneki from the readers hardly comes out of nowhere, regardless of what importance one might attach to this particular aspect. On the other hand, after browsing the discussion thread here, I really don't see that many comments focusing solely on the shipping (not that it should be a problem, but still): if anything, the most active discussion seemed to be about whether or not Eto was being serious and/or if she's dead or not. Aside from that, I don't think it'd be a good idea either to act like that eye-licking panel wasn't freaking gorgeous: no harm in appreciating good stuff. |

| ^ Nah, looking at how manga has been going until now, he can hardly abandon her, unless he gets a serious people-hating twist of personality. He is the MC and usually serves as a sympathetic character, and even if he didn't care for her, a "good" character can't abandon someone, who has risked their life to save him. As for the relative unfriendliness of this subforum - well, I guess, at least there's some flavour. It will hardy change. Let's maybe switch the topic? Frankly, I've been surprised how unhinged Eto is. When we saw her as Takatsuki Sen, she seemed like more of an intellectual, that a fighter. I thought she would be the one well-adjusted ghoul. I mean, she is educated, as it seems, she is integrated in the human society, even famous. And the extravagant writer image can serve well for hiding she is a ghoul. Her father is a strong ghoul with connections too. Then, when we saw her fight, I thought that she may be arrogant, cause she is spoiled by all these things and bored. But in the end it turns out that she is warped and psychotic too. I hope we get her backstory, cause - why? She seems to have it all. |
On the topic of tarot cards, it wasn't an 11; it's a 16 Which makes sense, given the Tower and all. Also, that next issue blurb though. "Just what did Ui see...?!" ...Huh. I wonder. Edit: I also can't really predict Kaneki's behaviour right now. Something will happen, maybe. |

Yea because all we really know is Amon's foster father and iirc during the first breakout of Cochlea Aogiri didn't make it to the SSS level. Plus we were introduced to Tokage Goumasa who was the torturer of Jason so I'm pretty sure he'll have something to do with the next Arc if it's indeed related to Hinami/Cochlea. |

Think about all the time in kaneki ' life. Hinami was the only one to comfort and actually bring joy to kaneki. From the beginning of the series, to when he was mentally unstable white hair, now even "sasaki" visits her every know and then. I believe out of allll the characters hinami loves kaneki the most. Kaneki will most likely treat her like a treasure. Just what I think tho. |

| This chapter confirmed to me what I've always believed. That Eto wants to do him. As for Kaneki, well the way things happened leaves it very likely that Eto just left herself be impaled and cut by Kaneki so she could leave him her carcass so he could feed upon it. Eto is still by any means and purposes a lot stronger than Kaneki. Still this ship is insane. |

| This panel made me appreciate Eto's character a lot more. She's crazy, wild, and oddly very attractive. I wouldn't mind being Eto's child. Ahem anyways. Eto revealing herself to Ken Kaneki was quite a bold and risky move because now he knows that Eto is Sen Takatsuki. |
