I wonder if he developed a feet fetish Plenty of amusing dialogues and word plays this episode. I'm also glad to hear Gaens' voice again with her advice. Pacing felt slightly slow but was quite entertaining this episode. And oh I'm glad to see Shinobu again too.  |

| That translation sucks very bad. I will rematch this series when good fansubs will be out for sure. My Japanese is not good enough for watching raw (especially if it comes to series like Monogatari), but I can hear that this translation is just extremely bad. Oh Araragi, you devil boy. And why the hell they are saying lost cow. Cow was a wordplay only, but it was a SNAIL (蝸牛). |

| Funniest episode of anime I've seen in a while. I was dying from laughter at Yotsugi's stretched face. Yesh, Shinobu came back. These dang cliffhangers are so annoying... Just a great episode. Fast-paced and entertaining with cool characters |

| I usually like the dialog, but the first 9 minutes, and the last 5 minutes, felt particularly long-winded. All the teasing in this series is obnoxious. I don't like this arc as much as the previous ones. |

| SHINOBU!!!! I missed u <3 Ononoki's parts were so fun as usual. Her saying "U wanting to break a promise with Gaen makes me want to fall for u" lol And Dat taking off stocking scene :L I want to be stomped on by those small feet... And more Kanbaru antics using the chance of being carried by Koyomi. She's just too good. ALL DEM "MESHIYAGARES" Esp the 2nd one with the flower petals :L I'd totally eat her up. Lol'd so much at how she was Hyperventilating over Shinobu XD I don't remember when but if they have when was the first time Kanbaru and Shinobu met? Anyway all Dat Shinobu cuteness is finally back. Can't wait to see more. Koyomi revealing himself that Ononoki stepped on him with bare feet was hilarious XD |

| Ononoki is cute as fuck. And the part when she slammed her feet into Araragi's face was also cute as fuck. I want to give her a hug every time that I see her on screen, lol. And the, Shinobu's appearence was random, I didn't expect her to appear of this war. She is still cute, though what she talks has confused me very much, like the part when she says that she was attacked by a monkey (who was not Kanbaru) and fight with it along a cat (Hanekawa?). Also, in the part when she says that the subject of the hawaian shirt was to fix the broken bond between her and Araragi (if I understand that well), was refering to Oshino, no? Dat cliffhanger at the end. But knowing the Monogataris, I'm not sure if they will battle that enemy. Kanbaru was also cute in this episode, especially the part when she starts to fantasize about Shinobu, lol. Btw, Gaen is such a confident person. This episode endcard was really good. |

Well, that respond one of my questions. |

| Huh, so someone or something is going around pretending to be the 5 apparitions from the first season. I wonder what they're up to and if that links into the armour samurai (or is that a separate phenomenon altogether?). Also, who was that mystery person who was shown when Araragi was talking to Ononoki about Kanbaru's role in the promise. An image of this person was showed for some reason, but I cannot for the life of me recognise who it is. Bit of a disappointing arc so far, but I'm hoping it gets better when it bothers to answer these questions. |
| Pacing felt pretty damn slow, but that's probably because they're stretching a whole volume into six episodes rather than four like most other Monogatari arcs. Anyway, glad to see Shinobu back! Kanbaru's reactions were pretty funny. 4/5 |

As far as I understand it, yes, it takes place directly after Onimonogatari/Shinobu Time where Gaen asks Koyomi to introduce Kanbaru to her. Also, at the same time, Nekomonogatari Shiro/Tsubasa Tiger happens. Now, what confuses me is that Shinobu stated that she fought a monkey together with the cat. Assuming the cat is Hanekawa, this would make no sense because she is busy taking a shower together with Senjougahara at this point in time. If the cat isn't Hanekawa, maybe it is the copied version? I don't know. In any case, this arc shows how Araragi fulfills his promise he made with Gaen and happens some months before the events we saw in Owarimonogatari V1 (Ougi Formula, Sodachi Riddle and Sodachi Lost). |

I don't get why they put some of the arcs out of order.. it just confuses the viewers. They were published this way as well, it's very much intentional. Helps build the mystery and excitement if things are non-linear; I personally don't think Kizu would have been as interesting if it was the first thing we got, for example. |

| It has been a time since i watched monogatari S2 so i do not remember really well the details of some events, it makes me really hard tounderstand really well what is happening (because it is suposse to happen paralel to nekomonogatari-kuro right?), can't wait for the next episode. PD: I just don't know why but i'm starting to love kanbaru a lot, she sometimes can be cute as fuck, |
| Quite a few people seem to be confused about the Cat that was with Shinobu. To clarify, or more like spoil, it was Black Hanekawa. I think whether Hachikuji's case was the easiest or not has nothing to do with why Gaen guessed it right. She simply reasoned that Araragi would have the leisure to call her only when he'd have encountered the Snail. | I love how this is tying back into what happened in SS. Shinobu is back, yay! I still can't really tell what's going on with the armor samurai, but I'm guessing Gaen knows more than she lets on, or she's pulling the strings somehow. Great ep! |
| excellent chapter. Apparently this arc will try to Koyomi facing the most powerful version of the oddities. I loved to return Shinobu (swing scene. Lol). Suruga was excellent today. |

| Damn I really enjoyed this episode. Especially the second half and that conversation with Gaen. I really liked Shinobu as well. Also it's a minor thing but I feel like they've been moefying Shinobu's appearance slowly but surely ever since SS. I really enjoyed the sly, subtle and teasing faces she made this time around. |
