| The flashback in the beginning was so appropriately subbed since America loves to swear so much. lol, a dick move. Seeing Goro back to being himself made me have a smile on my face for the rest of the episode. |

That first encounter with Silva had me grinning the entire time. And tearful Silva had me laughing. Great stuff. Back to Shimizu in the next episode. Wonder why she's taken up so many jobs. Hard to believe it's related to money troubles. Though she did pay her way last season to see Goro in America, but it's not like she's living on her own either. Running away from something? |

| That Hornet fan keeps cracking me up, that end scene was heartwarming. Seeing Goro back on his game was absolutely awesome and has really inspired me with a slump of my own. I could barely hold back the tears of joy when his hat fell off. Keane's comment made my day as well. |

| HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HES BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God, I was so sad these last few episodes with having a Goro that wasn't Goro . . . But finally he makes his comeback and what a nice one too. Glad he is also a starter, instead of being a closer, the position just fits him better. Anyways, excited to see this series progression from this point on, with the same 'ol Goro. |

| Boom baby! Goro is back! I loved the American verbiage such as "a total dick move" and "being an asshole" in this episode. Just made me laugh. I loved the ending with the fan interaction and it was fucking emotionally awesome. Seeing Silva cry, the tremendous punchline from Keane, Goro's hat falling off.. great stuff. Goro is truly one of the best anime characters of all time. |
| That yips arc was bloody frustrating, but for all the right reasons. Only made that payoff so much more sweeter. Excellent arc that I'm glad is there, since I don't see too many sports anime going into the psychological factors that are present with the pressure of being a big time sports athlete. |
| it was good info to know about gibson in the years after he left japan. i must say i kinda disappoint with goro's yips, they could take it deeper, but they probably needed something to take care in couple of episodes and not half season. laugh at your face silva! goro is back, that's how i love him. wonder what next though. |
