 During the end of the 1-hour special of Owarimonogatari, it was announced that Kizumonogatari will be a film trilogy. The first movie, titled Tekketsu-hen (Iron Blood), will premiere on January 8 and is directed by Tatsuya Oishi. The remaining two films, titled Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood) and Reiketsu-hen (Cold Blood), will debut at a later date.Kizumonogatari is a prequel of Bakemonogatari and the third volume of NisiOisin's Monogatari series. Aug 7 and had subs Sept 2 in the cinemas. If it goes that way, then Feb 8 expect a subbed version. Or like the Tsukimonogatari a 4-episode series was aired as a 1hr+ show. Or like other movies that are released these past 2 seasons with subs already. |

| Good for the fans, I guess. It's been a long time coming. Never was a Monogatari fan myself, but I can see its appeal. Won't be watching but I'm glad it's coming out, mainly so people can shut up about it, but still. |
