I suppose so. As long as the monster that is Disney owns Star Wars, there’s likely not going to be anything interesting coming. Anything that was even remotely interesting set up in Last Jedi was promptly destroyed in Rise of Skywalker. It’s still hilarious to me how the movie couldn’t even a conjure a reason for why Palpatine comes back. He just does because they needed a big baddie since Snoke was offed, lol. Yea, I do think a modern Star Wars RTS would probably be pretty cool. There are some older ones like Empire at War or Galactic Battlegrounds if you’re interested in those sorts of games. I’ve never played Dark Forces nor Jedi Outcast but I probably should. One final note I want to make on the potential for a KOTOR 3 is I’m scared that they would fall back on shit introduced and written in KOTOR 2. The second game kind of demonizes the very concept of the Force.
It basically is a grimmer Pokemon as you said since you’re collecting demons and angels, stuff of that sort. And it usually involves taking arms against the world’s respective deity or god, something along those lines, lol. I never bothered trying Sword and Shield. The last mainline Pokemon game I even tackled was Pokemon White, the generation with ice cream and garbage bag Pokemon… How goes the search through Digimon or the like? I’ve heard decent things about the Digmon Story games if you’re interested. Haven’t played them, though. As for the Diamond and Pearl remake, it’s weird. It seems that the character models look fine and have normal proportions when you’re in battle, at least as far as I’ve seen. But then everyone’s reduced to some chibi form when you’re in the overworld. Like…. You have those normal character models, I’m not sure what the deal is.
It saddened me when you mentioned Okami and God Hand. But at least some of those people went on to PlatinumGames. And yea, man. I shrug everytime a new open world or sandbox game is announced. I’ll say that Death Stranding is an interesting example of one as the predominant experience of it is centered on the moment to moment gameplay of traversing the terrain. Having to keep an eye on the weight of the cargo you carry, keeping your balance and shifting your weight, the struggle of going up inclines. The detail put into that game moment to moment is weird but endearing. There was a certain comfortable pace to be found in delivering packages and going from A to B, without mentioning my problems with the aggravating narrative. Since you mention Dying Light, are you looking forward to Dying Light 2? I imagine you’re probably playing different games now given that I’m an asshole and took forever to respond back. But how is RE Village and Rogue Galaxy? This month I finished Sekiro and thoroughly enjoyed it. The final boss whipped me into shape, that’s for sure. I recently started playing Dragon Age: Origins (I got it for 2 bucks on sale on Steam) and I’m enjoying it. I generally like the party of characters you interact with and how they respond to your actions throughout the game.
8 months later, 3 or so sizeable updates later and Cyberpunk is still broken and underwhelming as far as I hear. It’s a disaster. It still sold about 13 million copies before the end of 2020 but I’m know CD Projekt expected more as they have reported as such. Nice, I’ll check out RagnarRox and Spherehunter. Thanks! I’ve actually watched some of Noah Caldwell-Gervais’s content and have enjoyed what I’ve seen of him. I enjoyed recently watching his KOTOR video and his Mass Effect videos.
I see, hope you’re doing well, man. Were you able to get some more rest during the summer? Did you take classes during the summer? I’ve been ok. Just working while I try to find something better for myself. I graduated in the spring semester with my bachelor’s but struggling to find an entry position in where I want to apply myself. I’ve been seriously considering whether I want to apply myself for striving for graduate school but I simply have not made a decision for myself. My goal right now is probably just to save up and put in more hours, I guess. This probably bears repeating as it’s been a bit since I gave a response, I hope you’re doing well, mate.
By the way, this is rather off the mARK, but I'm interested in your account name. Quite teenage-wasteland, yet still meaningful if you seriously think of it.
Another thing has bugged me. Is your forum picture Jim Carrey?
