| Excellent episode once again. I loved how Itami rushed up when Rory began uncovering her halberd (Can't let her slaughter the government!) I was absolutely delighted in how Rory handled that politician. Kudos to Rory. Excellent display of pulling off a "Double Shuffle" to elude whomever was attempting to get to them. Hey, did you notice that the subbers finally got Itami's rank correct? Woot! Poor Kuribayashi. Her image of Itami keeps getting hammered... :D Pina's seems pretty sharp in the anime. She's realistically appraising the Empire's situation in relation to Japan, and is updating that appraisal constantly as the situation develops. And I can't blame her companion Bozes for (apparently) liking that handsome young sergeant. We sergeants are dashing folk, after all ;) Next week, oh man, next week.... |

| No action in this episode, but it's still good. That woman that asking them questions was so annoying that I just want to punch her throat and shut her up. Acting way too high for someone that was not on the battle field against the fire dragon. Rory shut that annoying woman up was so good hahaha. Rory is way too good in this episode...and her voice is awesome as well. Last but not least, the ED song is still one of the best this season. |

Good analysis kyled00m; the moment we heard her "tone of speaking" it seems obvious she was a mangaka. Though often times I wonder if a mangaka would want to marry an otaku. Anyway, I admit that she does look appealing, I would want to marry her since she looks cute. Some other thoughts. 1. Now that everyone knows Rory will be a goddess in the future then I will make a bet that, like the U.S dollar’s “In God We Trust,” the Japanese Yen would start saying “In Rory We Trust” along with how a newly made Yen bill would have Rory’s picture in it. On the meantime, I am wondering how China is going to approach things; we know China doesn’t believe in gods, and so forth, yet Japan now has a goddess on their side, so it would be bad to make an enemy out of a goddess, especially since she can take souls. 2. Anyway, I am hoping they can use that Fire Dragon’s DNA for cloning and later involve cybernetics for remote control animals, imagine the terror of tamed Fire Dragons. The same goes for the monster girls, in regards to cloning; we have heard, from Lelei, that humans are the most abundant in the Special Area, that would mean that the monster girls have a much smaller ratio, possibly due to obvious reasons of persecution T_T 3. I would like to know what those computer comments said about Tuka; even the diet members apparently took their phones out to get a picture of the elf XD. 4. Anyway, I am glad that, as compared to the manga, they put some flavor as Rory burned Kouhara; now that diet member needs to be sure to pray and bring offerings to the future goddess. But geese, even if the appearance changed in both the manga and anime, Kouhara's personality makes her ugliness reach its peak. 5. I just noticed they ate at Whitebeard's restaurant, obviously we know why Itami chose it. Now we know that the surviving whitebeard pirates had went to Japan to open their own restaurant. |

| Wow, I really liked this episode. Such a change in scenery. Rory's response to that lady was absolutely perfect. Like you go, girl. The "Are you stupid?" part was awesome. And her calling the lady "ojou-chan" was so amusing and great. So she knows some Japanese also then? And over nine hundred years old?! Woah, I didn't realize she was so old. And the elf is over one hundred herself? Damn. I didn't realize the aging process is different for some of the characters (though I figured Rory was older than she looks). It's pretty cool. Itami is an impressive otaku slacker admittedly. Shrimperor said: Am i the only one here in the Lelei faction? Definitely not. I like her character a lot. Since Japan controls the gate, the other three countries are being shut out of access. At this point you can assume that what is happening to the buses and the subway is being orchestrated by the intelligence services of any or all of those countries. Princess Pina is actually doing a pretty good job of playing her diplomatic cards (remember she currently doesn't really have much power in the Empire) while obtaining information that may allow her to become a much more important political factor back home. And I think I might start shipping the blonde knight and the veteran soldier after that subway incident. Don't be surprised that Rory knows Japanese, she's a demigod and an apostle--one of her powers seems to be to understand and be able to speak to any of the humanoid races presumably since she is able to reap them for her master. I'm looking forward to the Hakone episode, because as we all know Hakone means onsen (or at least an onsen episode...). |

| Liked the episode, it was nice see all the female cast in the city. The woman from the press was quite amusing, at least was put in her place at the end. Exwife of Itami, that was unexpected, were is going to go the story from now? I don't even know who is going to be the main enemy of this story. |

Never doubt a politician's ability to belittle other people, especially good ones, for the sole purpose of shoring up their own support. |

I like how they asked, "are those ears real?" Hell yes it is. Also really like the part where they revealed the age. Rory=961, Tuka=165... and Lelei... I am 15 years old. Hahaha. And such a surprise, Itami had an ex-wife? No way. Such a surprise. I bet the reason they separated is not being an otaku... but probably because of him being a soldier, and they don't see each other as much. She looks so young too. >.< |
