| Guys, this episode made me blush so much! (I still am. >///////<) Goodness. I forgot how much I enjoy Mistake. Isaka is an amusing character. And he's not too unrealistic. However, if we're talking about the fourth side pairing of Junjou vs Sekaiichi, I'd have to go with Sekaiichi though. I love Mistake, but the Yokozawa story is just heartwarming and wonderful! That connection to Sekaiichi though. I loved it. It was nice to see Takano and Onodera even if it was in passing. XD Anyway, more Romantica next week. Come on! I mean, it looks cute and all, and I'm going to enjoy it. But we want Egoist already! >.< They'll probably get episode 9, I guess. At least this anime never fails to bring a smile to my face. ^_^ When this episode came out, it spurred me to catch up on five out of six animes that I was behind on just so I could look forward to watching this at the end. Not six only because I got overeager about watching this, so I skipped one. I was not disappointed. |

| Wow! What a perfect adaptation!! Junjou Mistake was probably one of my most anticipated episodes this season. I love this pairing so much~! <3 I like how Isaka and Asahina are depicted as mature adults, however their experience and expressions of love are so childish!! Their adult love deserves more attention considering how they are usually eclipsed by all the other pairings. I think this adaptation did it justice!! I hope the OVA covers the little stories about them once they've moved in together! Yay for the Takano and Onodera cameo! Let's hope Sekaiichi Hatsukoi gets a season three!! |

I understand in Romantica we get to know only one side of his character and you can excuse his background as further characterization, yet him being a pampered high class child seems very unfitting. Not to mention Isaka loses his edge of a sly fox and starts to act more like a typical Nakamura uke. But hey, someone finally admitted in this anime that he wants some! And it wasn't Nowaki! Next week we finally give Ijuuin-sensei his screentime. I wonder where we will end in this season. |

| Loved this ep! It was perfectly crafted to illustrate how each character strains what they believe to be the other's thoughts and feelings through their own personalities. Throughout the episode we see Ryūichirō fumble through a string of "mistakes": - thoughts on Asahina not reciprocating his attempts to kiss him: WRONG - Asahina's motivation for his inquiry regarding his plans for the evening: WRONG - who Asahina is buying flowers for and why: WRONG - his decision to not immediately decline when Asahina tells him about the marriage meeting: WRONG - his decision to accept the marriage meeting: WRONG As he makes more "mistakes" his negative emotions build. His overall lack of professionalism and his inability to communicate verbally to Asahina escalate everything. As he arrives early to the marriage meeting his thoughts and feelings are overwhelmed with fear and insecurity. Asahina arrives at this boiling point, taking Ryūichirō's hand and running away from the location, explaining how he cancelled the meeting as they run. Once back at the apartment Asahina begins to apologize for his behavior and explain his feelings verbally. Asahina's string of "mistakes" unfold here. The "mistakes" revealed to Ryūichirō are viewed very differently by each of them. Their mistakes intertwine, furthering their complication. Asahina communicates verbally while Ryūichirō communicates more physically. Asahina expresses poor control over his physical emotions while Ryūichirō expresses poor ability to speak emotionally. All of this builds to points where one of the two characters will have to break, in this case it was Asahina. This also creates a great deal of suffering for each of them. Ryūichirō repeatedly reflects on how he has known Asahina for decades and wonders of a world where people can communicate without speaking a word. Asahina continually represses himself and wonders if he is doing the right thing. This also leads to... EXPLOSION SEX. XD I'm happy we got to see SOME HOT ACTION. Well, it was more like HOT DIALOGUE PUTTING THE IMAGES VIVIDLY IN THE MIND. "You'll regret it." OMG. Asahina talking about how he couldn't stop at just a kiss. *SIZZLES* I always wish they would show a bit more but I can't help but be greedy about that. I really loved this episode. The in-episode music was perfect. The art was great. Every second of this episode was filled with something that enriched the story. The Takano and Ritsu cameo!!! I really love Mistake. I tend to forget how much I love it until I see it (or read it) again and am reminded of how good it really is. Wow that was long. Sorry everyone, lol. I just...loved this ep that much. Thank you for reading my nonsense! <3 |

I never really rate Junjou high because Romantica is the main couple and most of their storylines and conflicts are overused as fuck (imo), not to mention I really hate Usami in general. I'm more of a Terrorist and Egoist fan and honestly, their episodes plus this nice Mistake episode won't make me give highter ratings, because their content is less than 40% of an entire season :/ Hiroki and Nowaki are still lost in the forest, someone should rescue them already. |

This is also a possibility. It's quite remarkable: the score was solid for weeks on 8.49/8.48 points. For appr. 2 weeks now the score is decreasing rapidly. I did not want to blame the Egoist fans (I like them a lot myself). But I often experienced that people vote down an entire show just because their favourite characters/couples/arcs got not enough screentime. Something along the lines 'Great show. But far too less scenes/episodes for XY. Therefore 4/10'. Well, let's see if the score goes up when the Egoist episode airs at last. |

| I'd almost forgetten all about this pairing but really enjoyed this episode. And yes, I am one of those people who enjoy Egoist above all things JR related so I am still patiently waiting for the fix but the deadpan seme and borderline delusional uke still managed to form a rather interesting relationship. Once again, another pairing that I prefer to the main one. Back to Romantica next episode, oh well...guess it can't be helped. |

| Well, I'm certainly glad that I watched Sekaiichi Hatsukoi first. Otherwise I wouldn't have enjoyed the first episode with this pairing as much since I'd have seen this one first. What shocked me the most was that Asahina said that Isaka confessed ten years ago. TEN YEARS? It's been TEN YEARS since the events of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi 2!?!?!! Here I was thinking that Onodera was younger than Usagi, but in actuality, he's older. Is he? The timeline in this anime has been so confusing. In the first episode, Misaki said it's been three years since he's been living with Usagi. Then in the Terrorist episode, Shinobu says that he's eighteen (he's seventeen years younger than Miyagi, placing Miyagi at thirty-five, which is the age he said he was in season 1, meaning that no time would have passed). So how many years have gone by? I'm so confused! I loved the Onodera and Takano cameo. Made me fangirl. So lets see... Usagi, Misaki, Onodera, Takano, Chiaki, Yukina, Hatori, Shouta, Yuu, Yokozawa, Kirishima, Isaka and Asahina. Conclusion: everyone in the manga industry is gay. |
