| Well looks like all the Gate ''fights'' will be one-sided until the end. I can't call this a fight, it's a total one-sided massacre and I really hope this change in the next episodes. 3/5 Edit: loled at the choppers theme. |

| Okay those Apocalypse Now references were fun but also kinda stupid. I mean with what would they shoot your balls off? Rory is kinda annoying but oh well its easy enough to ignore her. That female JSDF soldier needs to be slapped hard. Just rushing into action, what an idiot. Also firing rockets at single groups of soldiers? Well that's expensive. Oh and the whole Knight business at the end was incredibly stupid. Bonus points for mowing down soldiers. |

| The ending there kind of annoyed me. Those knights have no idea, pointing their little spears at the SDF. Other than that, I enjoyed the episode. I wanted to see those bandits get massacred and I got to see it. |

And you really can't compare Overlord with Gate since they are far different from each other, one is about a man who is moved to another world in a Lich form/body and don't have any idea about what is going on while losing his humanity and the other about a Self-Defense Force going to a fantasy-like world in response to an attack. |

| Excellent episode. Kuribayashi was terrific as were the comments about her always breaking things. I like the way they've depicted her in the anime, she looks better than she does in the manga. Great detail on the vehicles and equipment as usual. They also continue to really depict a believable group of soldiers: at the end when they ran into the cavalry Itami was constantly repeating "Hold fire! Hold fire!". He knows what reflexes have been trained into his troops. Many homages to Apocalypse Now, but they were fitting for the scenes. |

Well, and because it was on the writer's mind since he wrote the entire film while listening to Wagner and The Doors. When chosen for Apocalypse Now, it was intended to, while being impressive, compare the Air Cav to the Valkyries from Der Ring des Nibelungen, who's triumphant entrance is eventually followed by defeat. However, the scene became so iconic that the reference got lost to the fact that every helicopter force anywhere just has to love doing it. | This is like the best anime season I have wittnessed. without a doubt best episode in Anime history. Rory, goddess of Loli and War, was really going crazy. SDF played Wagner while attacking with helis. Yes, yes I can die in peace now. (for me Rory has won the battle for "waifu of the season" but it was weird that she punched itami, especially after the "very tight fit" episode.. I thaught she would make a dirty joke or something lol, I was wrong) |

| About helmets and guts: helikopters have not strong armor. The crossbow bolt can penetrate through it on close distance. And you never know what kind od weapon enenmy have. |

I highly doubt the rose knights would have believed that: a) A little over a dozen soldiers from the army of arnus saved Italica b) The princess has signed a treaty with the enemy c) "Iron pegasus that spew death" IMO it was the right call to be taken prisioner, he knows he wont be killed before bringing him to Piña Co Lada and they still believe time is of essence, so they will go to Italica asap. kataklism said: he probably doesn't like guns. i love guns. | Gate is the best example of how not to make a show. One sided slaughters just aren't entertaining to watch, especially if it's people blasting bandits with missiles. It was just dumb and badly directed (all those shitty cuts). BUT, at least the episode was funny bad, unlike previous ones that were just boring. |
