| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was pretty, almost felt like it had holiday-like spirits. The food didn't seem so special to me though but the connections between the main girls was cute. Seems like they are experimenting with some drinks this episode as well. Time to get drunk |

| 1. Ryou waited the whole 2 hours at the station just to see kirin. So heartwarming. 2. Kirin randomly hugging ryou from the back cuz she smelled like food… yes…. 9/10 |

| The irresistible urge to taste test some food :) Ryo wanting to wait despite the cold and Kirin helping her war up a little. It was fun again to see Kirin being scared of adults. Having the same thoughts/enjoyment as someone else and coming to realize it, now I want to try sweet sake too. |

| Ryou will definitely become a great waifu someday. She knows a lot of household skills and she knows how to cook! What else one needs? What was Kirin watching on TV? I just saw someone getting whipped on the butt. O.o Dem sexy Shiina lips though! I'd let her whisper on my ears all day. :9  I do wonder what her family does on New Year's. Whatever it is, she didn't seem too excited about it. Still the best girl though. :3 Ryou can't just hold back her greediness when it comes to food. She ate quite a lot in the name of sampling foods for Kirin! Good to see Akira appearing again. I like how she joined the grownups in drinking right away after they called her out. XD Decent episode. Kirin's mom and aunt Akira rocking out the Dubiduba in the PV was too funny and cute! :3 |

| More absolute cuteness this episode. And more of the background girl who seems to be there for no reason. "Its dangerous, so we don't let anyone else in" GOOD GOD WHAT DO YOU DO!? Oh drunk adults. Id love to see Kirin have to deal with drunk adults. Oh lord the poor girl. This show rides a fine line between friends and yuri. Like damn. Though my favorite part of every episode is the little preview. |

| I wonder what Shiina's New Years Eve party is like. If it's dangerous, then I assume that her party must be full of drunks or something. >_< Kirin was obviously tempting fate with the 'Rural trains are never packed. What can possibly go wrong?' scenario. 'You reap what you sow'...her mother hit the nail on the head right there. ^^ Despite that, Ryou showed good dedication waiting all that time for Kirin to arrive in the freezing cold. The food she cooked looked tasty too. =D |

| Kirin scared of adults and the grandpa, especially the GRANDPA lol Well you learn from your mistakes. Oh Kirin, no one would believe a train to be empty on New Years Eve. Next time, book train ticket early. Shiina's short screentime was pure win. Scares Ryo from behind at the store. Am I the only one that expected Shiina to bite Ryo's ear romantically, I mean we're talking about Shiina, she'd be the type to do that. The food looked delicious, although I'm not much of a fan of soups. Still, I'd enjoy Ryo's food and her company as I'm into cooking as well, mainly grilling. Let's not forget Kirin, she'd be a great food taster and little sister. |

| I find these types of heartwarming episodes are my favorites of the series. Not that the other episodes are poor, just that this particular mood is very nice. |

| ok there has to be a second season based on this pacing we have 9 episodes of us hinting a new girl but she never really got to introduce herself even if she does get introduced 3 episodes aint enough shaft most likely planned this to be a 2 season show (they have a history of it) but this episode is really nice…i always feel comfy after watching |

| GUH. THE SOUP. I wanted/want that soup so badly...I can't even explain how badly. I love anime food. People eat in almost every single anime that exists. I thought this show would be random and fun to watch but it's turned out to be more than that... *kinda shocked* I have the most wretched food allergies and dietary restrictions which I'll sum up in the diets I've been forced to live by lest my body's immune system brutalize me or kill me: vegan, gluten-free, and histamine restriction. The last one (histamine restriction) is the worst of them all. None of these "diets" are needless - trust that. I would never make myself this miserable on purpose. I have literally cried watching this show. I have come to realize that people bond rather deeply over food which is something I can't do...so this show is fascinating to me in that way. I can see things I would never normally get to see. I wish so much I could eat delicious food with people I care about. It must be an amazing thing. |
| Decent show. I absolutely love oden, and the stock soup, this episode reminded me just how much so. I'm so glad that I did the smart thing for once and watched this one when I was having dinner..... alone..... It's so true eating with other people makes food better. Kirin is acting like a really clingy girlfriend. I approve! Ryo brings out the natural best side in Kirin, and Kirin accompanies Ryo in thinking up silly ideas. I loved how Kirin was trying to force Ryo ot finish the soba before New Years, but was too late. I love this chemistry that these two have with each other. |

| Akira knows what new year is all about, getting drunk!! It seems Kirin was to nonchalant again when she needed to get tickets for the train but in the end she did manage to get to Ryou. Even if it was an hour late. |

| Now that's some good food. A perfect new dish for a perfect new year episode. Those craving actions of Ryou to that dish was kind of cute. She should just invite more people to her place. She could build more relationships through that. I wonder what Shiina's family are doing on New Year's Eve? I so want to know. |

| Was it just me or did the animation really pick up this episode? The oden eating scene wasn't blurry at all like all the other eating scenes and everything just looks well done in general. Whoever did the background skies this episode did a fantastic job, especially in Kirin's town. They were beautiful When Kirin went to hug Ryou because she smelled nice I knew it was going to be because she was cooking LOL Ryou made a really funny face when she said Kirin had soft skin haha I'd recognize that voice anywhere at the end, didn't even know she had a role in this anime. This just makes it even better |

| Pleasant even this episode, narration quiet and nice, not bad review the personage of Akira. Drawings with ups and downs, the quality of the scenarios instead remains excellent. |

| After a month of delay, i'm finally back on this :) I'm curious on why Akira thinks it would be dangerous to stay at their home during New Years?! :O Lol Ryou couldn't control herself eating the Oden. I want an Oden made by Ryou!!! Kirin is such a carefree person. Can't believe it's already been a year in the show since Kirin and Ryou met :) Amazake tastes good! I think i remember drinking, especially the rice feel to it. Akira seems to hold her alcohol so well. My mind played some dirty things about Akira drinking with a bunch of old males. The PV is funny as hell!! Shiina's mother dancing while Akira is drink rocking! Can't wait to finally finish this show!! |

| Oh yeah, testing your own food to check whether the taste is ok or not and not being able to stop. I know about that feeling, Ryou. It was another nice episode with some heartwarming moments between Ryou and Kirin. The chemistry they have is so nice to watch. |
