| The title, yes. The anime, no. At first, when it was first announced months ago, I thought it was a sequel to Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance, but then I noticed the name and immediately knew it wasn't. |

| Blade Dance might've not been anything special by any stretch of imagination but even so, World Break seems like the less interesting & more generic version Blade Dance. Starting off with the protagonists, Kamito at least had an identity, a past as Ren Ashbell & his own goals instead of mr.100% generic,self-insert,goody-two-shoes that we got here. This is just based on the 1st episodes of each, of course. |
