| That was quite an episode huh. I did cry along with Yaya, Naru and Hana. They almost lost their friendship, I'm glad it's fine now. Cute episode. |
| They should definitely keep the animal ears... Yaya is still my least favorite of all of the girls, but its nice to see her get some development, and hopefully become a friendlier character. I got some definite Sawako-sensei vibes from Sally-Chan this episode! Plus we got to see more of Machi, even though she still doesn't seem any closer to actually joining their club... |

| Hana is such a little devil and woohoo my ship is sailing, Masaru x Sally <3 Man, I am so proud of Naru, she is becoming such a strong person in such a short time. Hana's nose! That was too harsh of Yaya... "Yaya-chan no bakaa" I love these girls xD Now that's how you handle tsundere girls, like a boss! man, such a beautiful episode and it wasn't cliche either... | Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| To show how unobservant I am, the first time I watched this episode in August I somehow missed the part where Hana, Naru, and Tami painted their respective colors on the plain white naruko. They also decorated Yaya's for her. The beginning with the animal ears and tails was too cute. I liked how Sally thrusts the cat components into Yaya's hands as she rushes past, and though you think Yaya would not wear them, she's sporting ears and tail when the club visits Machi. I know a lot of viewers hate it, but I quite like the drama in Hanayamata. In the case of both Tami and Yaya, note how the animators used rain (as is the tradition in Japanese cinema) to express the sorrow both girl felt. How could you not feel for Yaya after she put so much effort into her band, only to have the other members give up over the failed audition? Princess Tami rules as usual, quietly giving Naru and Hana advice about their split with Yaya. Though a bit cliche, Yaya comes away from her time of despair and soul searching to embrace her role in the club. |
| 5/5 Episode that seems to shuffle the cards and give more depth to Yaya, very good. Plot sees a further maturation of the group, narrative veeery sweet and melancholy, I like it. Great design, good animations. One episode even funny, Hana is always ready to entertain during the narrazone, but also knows how to be very sweet. Cute also adopted the costumes for the yosakoi. |

| Ugh, Yaya is just such an awful person. She pretty much just wants to use Naru to feel better about herself and always wants her to be inferior. Disgusting. The others should cut her out instead of embracing her and her disgusting behavior. |

| Damn look at all that friendship drama like things were getting pretty intense there between Naru and Yaya, like they almost had a falling out :O But then they were able to make up and get back together because they're such great friends and this show likes to be cute and make you happy :) |

| Great episode. Though, I can understand why Naru got so emotional, since Yaya and Naru has been best friends since they were little, but making it a triangle of equal emotions with Hana made it feel a bit forced. I would've probably enjoyed it more if they focused mainly on Naru & Yaya. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the episode. |

| Well.. I imagine that maybe many groups disbanded after not passing there as well.. Sleeves they chose are really pretty.. Well, yeah, sometimes with working hard you learn to work alone all the time as well.. Or solve some problems.. Or stuff.. I know that some things are needed to be done in group.. But also many things can be done without it.. Yeah, seeing that someone found something they like, but you're not finding it.. Can be pretty bitter, and frustrating, and can hurt.. As well as is your place here at all?.. |
| peak peak PEAKKK. oh my gosh what an amazing episode, Yaya is such a well written character and i audibly gasped at what she said. im so glad they resolved it and i actually teared up a little lol. this is probably the best episode after the Tami ep. wow i have very high expectations for the second half now! im still conflicted on Hana's character though, her voice is very grating and we haven't seen much to her and she still acts kinda annoying, we got some okay development from her last episode but this episode i don't even get why she's crying, lol, Yaya did nothing for her, Hana should've supported Naru instead of pretending she cares imo anyways amazing eppp, i don't see how this show would get less than a 9 |
