"I don't want to die" Edit: found a rough translation for the smaller text on tumblr He tells his parents that they used to have a granny as their neighbour, but she was murdered by a ghoul, and his mom was very uneasy about it back then. Seeing his mom’s expression, he felt like protecting his mother and that’s why he decided to become a ghoul investigator. This was a decision he has not regretted even up till now, and being able to dedicate his life to this job was something he was proud of. The last few parts were paritally obscured, but I’m just going to guess what it mentions, probably something along the lines of: This time our mission is to defeat a high ranking ghoul, and I’m also a member of the battle team. If something happens to me, please don’t be upset. Continue to live on like always. Even if I’m eaten, I’m probably not delicious. |

| Everyone involved in especially dangerous Ghoul extermination operations are handing in their last will and testaments just in case this operation becomes their last. Some don't think much about it while others pour their hearts out writing it. Takizawa realized what could happen to him if he faces someone as powerful as the Owl and felt the real gravity of the situation. Some might call him a coward for breaking down and desperately begging to not die before the fight even begun, but it's completely understandable that a person who's never been in real combat would freak out after finding out he'll be most likely fighting the strongest Ghoul in existence. Hide even handed in a testament even if he was just an assistant prior to this. Amon and Akira seems to be arguing with each other. It might be another Mad Joke from her though. |

| The difference between Seidou and Juuzou was interesting to see. Juuzou doesn't care if he dies and Seidou is almost getting insane. |

| dude ever since kaneki white hair transition it has gotten tedious to read, like I know it's building up to something but holy shit reading the theories of CCG is so pain, and to me personally none of the characters (CCG) feel fleshed out. They feel inside out bland with forced stories... but maybe it'll change like my friends keep telling me. |
