Its a very average adaptation of what was one of my favorite chapters in the novel. In the novel Hayama after falling in debt starts a prostitution ring with Class 4 Kaori Tachibana gets pregnant and with the constant fear of being found out by the sisters and her parents she dies in the fire not to mention the role of the fairies and Kurogiri are non-existent... and if you really wanna nitpick it a lil bit more at the end we see Shizune enter the dorm where Shiki and Azaka are sleeping and shows no reaction towards Shiki being there |

I'll admit I'm surprised why the bothered to change the main cause of the plot, considering the mature content that past films have displayed. I'd guess it's possible that it's due to the taboo nature of "Enjo-kosai" in Japan itself (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enjo_k%C5%8Dsai) hence why they were probably hesitant to include it. |

OH S***, FAIRIES!!! Animation/art and music was spectacular as always, but the story kinda... to put it lightly, sucked (well, at least for Kara no Kyoukai). At least Azaka was cute. And that dog XD |

I believe its the sister to be the reason as to why this movie got rated lower than the rest. The voice actor imo portrayed her with a less interesting or enjoyable to watch persona. She was portrayed too cartoony and should of been voiced more in a more serious realistic mood. Look more real angry and less sarcastic cartoony angry nahmeen. This is said after watching the first 9 mins for maybe a half hr to whole hr for some reason. Too many REPLAY REPLAY. Right after having a call with touko the master. Just listen to when she says That's-/ Sore wa and looks to Shiki 0_o don't you think she should of been portrayed as more serious, especially in her endeavors to her brother, and dark jealousy of his classmate. |

Nah what I'm saying is she shoulda been portrayed with a malicious, serious tone. More enjoyable mabes. When the camera pans to focus away from the character's eyes. a serious, dark tone is emitted, and a more serious voiceplay would be fitting and better comfortable for the visual atmosphere. |

At first, I was ''yessss, incest!'' but then I remembered that I was watching Kara no Kyoukai and that it was a bit out of place. The movie was good. Far to be as good as the last one but still, it was interresting to see the kind of relationship Miyata had with his sister. Also the plot was good, even if I didn't really understand what that giant plant thing was. Also, did I read right or the girl who attempted suicide was in fact alive? That new magician power was pretty cool, and a bit OP. I mean he could just say '' you are dying'' and the person would die, right? In the next movie, we have a psycho cannibal! He seem to have eaten even the bones, that's pretty crazy... I have a weird theory : what if that weird guy was the man part of Shiki? When he was talking with Miyata, he said that he was her part that wanted to kill the most, her most psycho part if we see it like this. Also, Shiki also need to kill, but when she had her double personnality, her murder were always excessively brutal, but now that she have one personnality, she is more neat in her killing. She lost her ''boy personnality'' after her accident and if I remember well, the guy she tried to kill when she had the car accident, and before Miyata saw her, was Araya. So what if he performed some kind of weird magic to split her in two? The productor muted the guy name on purpose, so it must have an important meaning. Anyway, this is just speculation and my imagination getting a bit too boundless :P |

This movie was definitely a calming break from the madness of the fifth one. It was interesting but a bit underwhelming and stale at times. The incest part seemed unnecessary but this is Japan and I've seen this situation too many times to really care or be bothered. The story was intriguing but again felt like a bit of a side story more than anything. 7/10 for this movie, the action is always crazy awesome to watch and the ost is top notch, albeit took a different direction this time. That ending though, WOW. That took me completely off guard and when I saw the guy go all "Itadakimasu!" on the corpse I'm like "oh....oh yeah, the madness is back." Araya is back huh? Or maybe it took place at an earlier time, not sure. I feel like that man mouthed the name "Shiki" but it's just a hunch based off Araya saying shishi. Guess I'll find out what all of this means in the next one. |

I'm quite disappointed about this film. It wasn't a bore to watch, the soundtrack was still amazing and the fight scenes were great. The real problem was with the story that was badly explained. I guess I'll have to read the manga to better understand the details. |

Although the previous movie is better, I enjoyed watching this more. Stunning visuals with great soundtrack as usual, and very refreshing as it's not as dark. The starry night scene sent chills down my spine. It looked so real, the animation really is something. 9/10 |

Keetriver said: Can I skip this? I heard it was one of the worse movie in the series. The only problem with that is that there's parts in it (near the last part and also in the end-credits scene) that build up to the last movie. Just think of this movie as the calm before the storm, like a random fun adventure before the climax of the series. |

wow that animation during the fight sequence inside the church, had an eyegasm there.. Overall a decent movie. I enjoyed it as a sort of a breather, especially after that crazy movie 5. Its nice to see Shiki in a SOL atmosphere I guess, the dog was cute, crime investigation was just okay. Kokuto has a sis that's a brocon? Yeah that ending was a little unexpected, whoa. Doesn't that dude have Kotomine's voice from Fate Stay Night? Must be same voice actor hmm |

This one was less intensive in terms of action, but it was not that bad. Granted, Azaka had to be developed some time soon, and they did a good job establishing her relationship with her brother. |

what a disappointment cant stand azaka, too corny and kawaii killed the mood that I'd grown accustomed to from the dark and serious tone set marvelously in movies 5 and 3. I really hope 7 isnt like this, or Ill be disappointed. 6/10 is my score, so 3/5. |

Grapekiwi said: what a disappointment cant stand azaka, too corny and kawaii killed the mood that I'd grown accustomed to from the dark and serious tone set marvelously in movies 5 and 3. To be fair on both Nasu and Ufotable's part, the original content for Movie 6's story revolved around enjo kōsai ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enjo_k%C5%8Dsai ) which has a really huge stigma in Japan. In this regard, I can see why they might have changed it to a simpler, albeit still serious, drug addiction story. It's not so much an excuse for the light-hearted tone of the movie, but it does explain why it feels a bit more toned down compared to the other films. well as ronri said beforehand this certainly was a breather. when i learned of the wincest hint i kinda freaked out but nothing happened so phew. the animation of the fight with kokouto's sister...so sick! my favorite part is when she was jumping on the chairs. wow the movie didn't take long to switch over to its original setting for sure o_O whoever that guy is, he's crazy. and PLEASE LORD MAKE SURE YOU KILL SOREN. he's back AGAIN?!? ugh...it's too soon to see him now >:( after the 2nd movie the OST has always caught my eye. my favorite song would have to be shiki's theme. oh and is it just me or does kokouto look EXACTLY like harry potter here? even the scarf. shee. 8/10. |

The scene you witnessed is set very early on in the past way before Shiki met Araya or the other antagonists... so it's while it seems random it's actually related to a very important story thread. TomDay said: oh and is it just me or does kokouto look EXACTLY like harry potter here? even the scarf. shee. Haha I've seen people point this out before so you're not alone in thinking this! ^_^ Incidentally, thinking about the incest topic of this film, I find it funny that for all of Azaka's glorification over her attraction for Mikiya, the flashback revealed that the basis of it was hardly the kind of fetish-y or romantic at all and felt closer to a proper brother-sister admiration. It made her feel more genuine in her feelings while serving to show her strength as someone who can willfully boast about it. So it's funny that she'd actually forget that important detail and simply brand it as some taboo attraction especially when the basis of her care for him was actually well-meaning in their intentions. |

Well, it was another good movie. This goes more for Azaka (and her moeness) and truth be told, I was surprised to discover that she was into Mikiya... well, it's her brother in law so..it's not that wrong...Is it? Anyway, it felt a little bit rushed, but at the same time everything fell in place. The mystery and battles got cut down a bit, even when the battle was kind of cool. As always, Ufotable doing magic with animation and sound and Kalafina adding the special touch with the songs. I did notice, the girl with the dog... isn't she the one in future gospel? I've seen her somewhere... Well, next movie we have a cannibal... ok ok. |
