| Sci-Fi action doesn't get much better than this. Awesome episode. The sound effects are always are stellar. I swear the sound of that Hyggs Cannon got me hard. If a season 2 is not announced (specially considering all the crap that gets a second season) there is no justice in this world. |

| I knew from the previous episode it would have a lot kill, but not that many. that "imortal counsel" just complains and does nothing. I hope Izana not end up like hoshijiro. Anxious for the next episode. |

| Great episode. Like some others users have mentioned, it had me on the edge of my seat. Also something that other users have mentioned is the sound. Fucking phenomenal sound effects. After next week it'll be time for me to jump on the manga. |

| They are really pulling out all the stops there. Adjusting course, firing a planet buster,launching two Gardes platoons with new experimental weapons and then the hygss cannon for good measure. Repect for Yuhata and Kobayashi there. Yuhata has to make up a new plan that promises the best result on the spot, and Kobayashi has to think them through even quicker if she wants to make a informed decision when Yuhata requests something. Unless she already simulated literally almost any outcome, which, given her experience, wouldn't be all that surprising. Would rise the question why she keeps an XO. And Kunat..well, probably better that he didn't respond to the sortie order. He would have messed up another mission. Wonder what the punishment for refusal to obey orders is on the Sidonia. Given the shortage on pilots, especially skilled ones, they can hardly put him into prison or demote him. |

| Super intense episode! Man, Platoon 2 got completely annihilated in like 1 minute. Seeing all the X s on the screen as each one died was ridiculous. That Super Hyggs Cannon was awesome though! Sad it's going to end next week.... |

| NIce, this episode was pretty intense. Thank god Benisuzume is the only one of its kind otherwise they are screw, she destroyed a whole platoon. Yuhata impressed me on this episode she was a bit cooler than usual. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

While Sidonia has its fair share of flaws, it just really goes to show the level of taste most anime fans have (hint: not much). This ep was good, but it sure took way many episodes to get to something of this sort. I hope there's a season 2, but I might just go to the manga instead of waiting. |

| Holy f-cking shit. It was worth it to step aside my homework and watch this first. I am at loss for words. This episode sent chills to my spine. The new Gardes launching sequence was damn awesome, along with the superb sound quality. That Gauna is pretty huge.. Izana: It's... huge.. (no sexual innuendos intended) Platoon 2 got pretty wiped up fast & clean. DAMN, IF I SEE A "SEASON 2 THIS FALL!", at the next & final episode, I'm gonna pee in my pants. Next episode: "Returning to the Ship" NO SERIOUSLY, GET A DAMN SEASON 2. 10/5 for this episode. |

| Not my favorite episode, but definitely one of the best, hell are there really any bad episodes? *I like how they let a platoon and a half die before they decided to shoot a Hyggs cannon at it.* *Still rooting for a happy ending with Nagate and Izana* *I see that nigga Kunato in his feels mode -_- * *Izana would you hurry up and develop a vagina and breasts for God's sake so Nagate will finally decide to fuck you?* |

| Man that was amazing, this anime has me on the edge of my seat every week, the battles are so intense and the sound quality is superb. This episode made me change the score for this anime from an 8 to 9, that's the highest I've rated any show this season |

I wouldn't say it has anything to do with seinen, maybe except for the violence. Which is probably why it has higher ratings, because it's not a seinen. "with they throw out all their new weapon and 1 platoon + 10 frame lost" 27 frame total. This is probably the best anime tis season. My only problem with it is the episode count... Seriously, only one more episode? :/ |

| That wave motion gun sequence was riveting. The finale will have a nice climax too from the looks of things. So I was thinking, they really should invest more on inertia dampening tech. Like, it would make their lives more convenient. Less StarTrek shake incidents and less cables. |

| It's official. Kiunato in this season (hopefully there's a second) is just a complete waste of space. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Oh my, we're about to crash into a dwarf planet-sized Gauna, I should have been the hero. Since I'm not, then the world can all go to hell with me. I still can't tell if the author genuinely wanted us to hate him, or whether it's the anime director's doing. Regardless, he's a waste of space (and for the people saying he can redeem himself. He's stuck on Sidonia with an hour before the missile impact on the Gauna, even if he went out and prepped his Guarde, he wouldn't even make it to the battle in time). Okay, here's another question. The biggest threat in the history of Sidonia is baring down at you, you have 6 hours left to live. Why did you not send out all 250 pilots to stop the Gauna? Why just send 20% of your fleet? And if you had that awesome Super Hyggs Particle cannon from the start, why didn't you just try to blow a hole in them FIRST? Oh, and after taking out the entire 2nd Platoon single-handedly, who wants to bet with me that Tanikaze still thinks that Benisuzume is still Hoshijirou and is worth saving? So many things that don't make sense, but still I rate this anime higher than most of this season, so I'm not complaining. Will definitely start on the manga once this is over. Can't wait till next week either. Hoping for a season 2. |

| MATE. This episode was quite good. The attack on the Gauna reminded me of the first Death Star run from Star Wars in a way, thoroughly intense. The 3D animation has been something to get used to, especially since it seemed a little awkward at first especially during the less intense, casual scenes but the series as a whole has become something to behold. Whether a second season is announced or not, I'll miss watching it after it ends next week. Though a second season announcement would certainly make me feel a lot better.. |

| 5/5 The narrative is always great, seems to be in battle due to the atmosphere created. Plot unchanged, no news, too bad some little novelty I would have liked. Graphically good, animations on the same level. Curiosity to much for the last episode, though a second season have to be made! |

| Holy shit, the whole second team... They never stood a chance against Benisuzume OPness... Now, the only hope lies on the first team... And that they don't encounter Benisuzume. They seemed to put importance on Hoshijiro-gauna version. Maybe she'll save Tanikaze from Benisuzume by some kind of telepathy with her sister..? Fucking Kunato... Hopes he get a huge sanction for deserting. Those immortal are a bunch of jerk too. Anyway, that thing is fucking huge. But next episode is ''Return to the ship'', so Tanikaze and Izuna will probably make it out. |
