| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Whoa that's a lot of competition from all over the world. TACO. Great to see all the cast back again in this. Dat fan service. I wonder if BD will remove the mist. Anyways, decent set up episode so far. I liked the episode especially with some of the intensity going on. I mean, those glowing eyes.. Wahaha |

| And so my winter anime season begins. Interesting place to start the first episode from. Episode of pure build-up to start with... Some of which was in the manga, but quite a lot of it was new. They seem to be placing a slightly different emphasis to the manga, but I can see why, from knowing what happens. VAs seem to be doing a good job, even if some of them are a bit different to how I imagined them. But that always happens. Saki's ability to get lost is second to none. Some references to events in Achiga-hen of course, as the two are running parallel to one another time-wise. I spotted Usuzan. |

| The long awaited mahjong sequel is finally here. Great to see the Kiyosumi and Achiga girls again, and a large variety of new characters. Can't wait for the first mahjong game. |

| The mystery of long skirt was solved! It was kind of "Eh, why is she wearing long skirt?" when I for the first time had read Achiga-hen. |

| When they pass throuhgt From Saki view of imagination Achiga look like a emotionless machine. Pretty much the same the other way thought. I can pretty much figure out that first episode will be some kind of introduction episode between the character to get that refreshment feel from previous season. Thought I want to see a mahjong match right away. You were not the only one that thought Toyone should have a bit more mature voice. |

| Well this episode was amusing, we got lots of information about the team which are participating at the tournament. Saki is such a beast, i really like her, dunno why tough she is very very cool! I'm looking forward for Shoujo-Ai, i hope they put at least a bit in, to satisfy my desire! Also the Onsen episode was really nice, and a big surprise that everybody is again there. Looking forward for the next episodes |

| The bath house scene surprised me actually, though. Was there fanservice in the previous seasons? I simply don't remember any, or maybe I just don't associate Mahjong and fanservice very easily. Mysteriously floating towels is new to me though. Kudos. |

| Finally more Saki anime, no more reading 15 page chapters and waiting for a month for the next release for a while been really looking forward to this. And we already seen more of the teams and things will be very exciting not to mention that we got Oohashi Awai for the opening match the anime is really treating is for the start. And i am already looking forward to next week. |

| Finally so many familiar faces back, woo~ Liked how they showed Saki's encounter with Achiga from the opposite perspective as well, was pretty interesting Can't wait to see the actual games, I honestly found them a lot more enjoyable to watch in the original anime compared to when I read the manga due to all the crazy special effects and shit, should be fun ^^ Still not sure exactly how far they will actually animate for these 13 eps but the more the merrier |

You will have to wait a long, long time before Saki vs teru, since they won't meet until the inviduals. And they will only animate the quarter finals this time. Maybe around 2017/8, if we are lucky. |
| Wahaha. I missed that laugh so much! So good to see them all again T____T It's only 24 minutes but it felt like a 40-minute OVA with all the stuff showed. In short, it's deliciously packed. And that Hisa x Mihoko bit in the ED. OTP. |

Barbie doll anatomy at its finest(?) ... why even censor if they have nothing to cover up? Nice introductory episode, after several years off it was good to get re-introduced to the characters from last season as well as our main team. I'd forgotten all about Saki's oppai girlfriend, lol. She's pretty soft-spoken so I'm not surprised I forgot about her and not, say, Taco-fang or Korono. I still don't understand a thing about mahjong, but it's fast-paced and exciting enough that I don't really need to. Plus this series is at least as much about the cute girls as it is the mahjong. 5/5, will definitely be watching this season. EDIT: And yes, it is nice to see that the conspicuous lack of panty shots is indeed because she doesn't wear any, lol. I imagine being around her busty girlfriend all day would drench any she did wear ;) |

| I missed my weekly dose of Saki that's for sure. Glad they included the meeting between the demon...I mean Saki and the Achiga girl's. I still find that commentator to be way too obnoxious though. +10 points for the skirt explanation, loved that. 4/5. When I rewatched Saki not so long ago, I noticed that in the last episode we already had a line-up. The one from the last episode of Saki And the one that was in this episode. It's interesting to see what they had changed. |

| The worst retcon ever killed this episode for me. Thankfully I got to see other schools from side B so it wasn't that bad. Still, what could be magnificent dropped down to mere 'okay'. |
