| A character-based episode was nice. Characterization and dialogue are where Crest of the Stars and now Banner of the Stars shines the brightest. As long as we keep getting some of that throughout like we did with this episode, I think I'll be okay with the more plot-based focus. I'm glad Lafiel is perceptive. Jinto would've dug a hole for himself so many times by now. |

| Jinto gets flustered with girls easily. He's been fairly composed with everything else, including space battles. Makes me wonder if anything will come of it, or if these Ekuryua and Lafiel romcom scenes are just there for humour. Both of them are quite unreadable, after all. |
