The guys walked around hunting players all day just for their own pleasure and they attacked them. They simply retaliated and gave them their 'just desserts'. Being a hypocrite would mean, "IT'S WRONG TO KILL PEOPLE JUST FOR KICKS" and then they themselves went and killed random people just for fun too. |

| Man, love this episode if only for the gryphons... 'cause gryphons are probably my favorite fantasy creature. Not a hardcore MMO player, but I've played quite a few and I'm glad to see that there are actually other classes than just the same generic classes in most MMO's. A Guardian or Assassin isn't anything new... but things like Elementalists whose only purpose is to support their team is unique for today's MMORPG's. Kinda reminds me of old ones like Dark Age of Camelot, or Everquest... though not nearly as many classes as DAoC. Barely more than WoW's classes, but at least it's got more than your typical re-hashed classes (at least thus far). | That opening song is sort of addicting in a weird way. I a mreally loving it way more than SAO for sure coz it is more simpler and truer to mmorpg. It makes me want to play one all over again. That teamwork and badassness of Akatsuki! Those griffins and moe Akatsuki! Another awesome episode! |

| Forgot to say, I like the opening... but to me, it somehow sounds like a Japanese Beastie Boys (towards the beginning) meets a Japanese Ozzy Osbourne (the second half). | Well, I find it quite annoying that they explain every little thing, it's like this episode is my tutorial to play the game. Maybe their game is too complicated, requiring too much explanation. I don't know, but I hope it doesn't continue through the whole series. |

| As someone who dropped SAO after the first arc, I was reeeally leery to start watching another MMO anime, but so far Log seems pretty decent. I love how our main chara is a control wizard basically, suits his personality. I'm just really hoping they continue with the strategy aspect until the end and don't toss it when it's inconvenient or when they think it might be too boring or some crap. |
| This is exactly what an RPG anime should be about. SAO was good, but this is much better in the portrayal. |

You're right, it is all subjective, to a degree. Everyone has their own opinions, but it can become a problem when their pushed onto others. Going by the LN, I did enjoy SAO's romance, but might I give other recommendations for romance enthusiasts? Just to name a few, David Gemmel's Troy Trilogy, The Lions of Al-Rassan, Tigana :P Honestly if you're willing to open a book, there are plenty of great stories to be told outside of anime, including that of the romance genre. |
