Oh and by the way, my favourites list is in alphabetical order. It's hard for me to pick favourites, so they aren't ranked.

Just a random Australian- Vietnamese teenager living in NSW. I'm really into MMA (thats Mixed Martial Arts, or UFC as people think of it), but not the same way as the average fan. I'm really into the technical aspects, but I still enjoy a good ol' fashioned brawl. Recently been taking a liking to kickboxing now, though I still follow MMA religiously.
Oh, and I just happen to enjoy Japanese cartoons =P
There is a purpose to my current forum avatar by the way. I wish to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer. Perhaps I can get the rest of MAL involved, maybe have everyone put mustaches on their avatars...

But things change if we're talking about Ashita no Joe 2. I just watched 3 eps yesterday and damn, the animation is gold and smooth.
Ashita no Joe will always be a timeless pearl for me. Like Hajime no Ippo, Ashita no Joe is about boxing too. But what differs them from each other is that Ashita no Joe explores the dark side of boxing, whereas Hajime no Ippo only focuses on intense matches and styles. (From 15 episodes I've seen so far). Ashita no Joe may start a little slow but it defenitely gets better with each episode. There will be a lot of moment which will shock you as the story progresses. Although I'm not sure if you'd like the animation. This however applies to the first series only. Cause the 2nd season of Ashita no Joe will have an amazing animation and the best one from the time it is created. (80s) I defenitely recommend it. I find it to be more interesting than Hajime no Ippo, although the latter's got an advantage by being a new century series, thus having better sound, animation, seiyuu.
