| When will they do this for Gold/Silver? It would be a bad call if they didn't. They don't have a reason to not make it. And it'd be cool if they could make it longer, like this should have been. I'm sure that this did well enough for a season 2. I mean, I'm sure this would've even been able to get away with 12/13 episodes. |

| Um...I think you have all completely misinterpreted the purpose of Pokemon: The Origin. If you couldn't tell by the fact that it only has 4 episodes, this is not a proper anime that networks air on TV as it's own show and check the ratings to see whether they should renew it for a second season or not. If you go and check it's page on MAL you can clearly see it is labelled as a special, specials are only a few episodes (sometimes only 1) and are not stand-alone series. They are only aired to fill in timeslots and act as advertising for the main series, in this case it is the Pokemon anime more specifically the upcoming X and Y anime as you can tell by the Mega evolution of Charizard at the end. |
| I don't think they'll ever make another pokemon series unfortunately, they'll keep making the Ash/Pikachu one until the franchise dies. |

| I would love a season 2. I started playing pokemon on gen 2 and I would love to see what they would do with it. Plus seeing gold vs. red fight would be awesome. |
| You know the whole purpose of this show was to enlighten the child generation (5-10 year olds) about the generation that started this franchise (our generation) and to show every1 mega zard X it's all marketing for the new XY games. |
| I woulnt say season 2 really but a more elaborate and bigger anime version like perhaps a 50 eps ova would be nice .. even for x and y it wud be gr8 |
