THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Woah! Finally!

The first thing I would say is, I'm really excited about the DVD Releases xD ...

Tomatsu Haruka is still Nagi's (Kannagi) voice for me and whenever Ayame speaks, only Nagi pops out of my mind. xD

Hanazawa Kana voicing Kagome fits perfectly.

The circumstances how the characters met each other has been changed from the manga's story, but nothing to worry.

Hmm till now all the new shows this season that I picked up have sort of dissapointed me in various ways... (White Album, Akikan, Minami-ke)
But now this... was actually good!

Though I didn't see the original manga, I think the seiyuus have been well matched with the characters.
Hanazawa Kana definitely fits Kagome ^^

and true, I still too keep remembering Nagi when I hear Tomatsu Haruka's voice :P
btw Tsundere is FTW. XD

Story was also very amusing, made me lol in some parts.
Adequately placed ecchi situations + cool action + comedy + 4 girls .. =Sekirei?!!? LOLz

I'll be looking forward to how this show will go on. :)

It felt a bit odd for some reason, but looks pretty good. Reminds me a bit of Sekirei..with much better graphics.

Action + comedy + very cute girls + fanservice = overkill!

I loved the little blue-haired one (haven't memorized the names yet). At this point comedy seems like the weakest point out of the 4. It's a bit early to say but best of season so far.

it was a good episode overall, Yoichi gives the feeling of Rurouni Kenshin when he talks. if you were to compare this with the other new series excluding hajime no ippo then i would agree that this is the best series so far, im sure there will be other series to make an appearance so yeah assuming its the best right now isnt good

I like the first episode and the fanservice is not overdone, which is a good thing. I agree with the others, Ican only think of Nagi whenever Ayame speaks. Yoicihi's different first impressions on each girl is hillarious, from molester to interested in yaoi to samurai XD.

Great first episode. I had the bar set high for this one because the manga was so enjoyable, and it met, probably surpassed my expectations.

Kagome in the manga seemed to be a very minor character, so it's nice to see them deviate from the manga a bit to incorporate all the sisters as evenly as possible. Perfect seiyuu for her too.

I'm not sure I like green hair for Chihaya all that much; I'm probably the only one who doesn't like it anyways XD.

If the anime keeps up this level of quality, this anime's gonna be sweet.

First impression... well, seems to be a good adaption of the Manga but I won't give my final judgement now. There's still a possibility it suddenly gets to-love-ru-syndrome, hopefully it doesn't.

Also, Zoro's voice for Washizu = perfect.

good start for an anime. I've read this manga a long time ago and couldn't wait for it to since the manga release are slow. Anyways, awesome seiyuus.

Haha this reeks of low production values...but the story is funny (the anime original material was pretty decent too) and the character designs are great. I'll reserve judgment until more episodes are released, but this is already shaping up to be a rather decent action/comedy/fanservice/maybe romance show.

Not as much fanservice as the manga gives, but it's still good as hell.

I love how everyone's voice fits perfectly as I imagine. Especially with Yoichi, Chihaya and Kagome. I'll be rooting for you Ayame!!

So we have Nagi, a loli, a perfect onee-chan, and a yaoi freak as girls and Sagara, dressed as a samurai, for the male lead. Seems good enough. The art is mediocre, do want the WS version. Can be funnier and have more fanservice. Other than that, I like it.

Somehow, that's pretty much the same though as I got ^^

Still, seems as if this could become quite so good after a few more eps, at least let's keep hoping :D

Oh and btw, if there hasn't been any notice of this already, Chihiro is also subbing this.

this is very well balanced series.

ecchi + martial arts + comedy and not going overboard.

This is going to be enjoyable to watch....

Watched the first episode and I don't see anything new. Same old plot elements, character designs, etc, etc. Well, I'll give it a few episodes to redeem itself because no one should judge a series with one episode.

Better than expected (my expectations were quite low after White Album, Akikan, and Minami-ke), but not great. Typical harem anime, etcetc. It was amusing though.

I really liked the 1st episode. A samurai after my own heart, heh. Yoichi reminds me a lot of Sagara Sousuke & it reminded me a lot of a couple of other series, especially Amaenaide yo! as mentioned before.

Onee-chan for the WIN . . . Although, is that a silver haired MILF in the credits?

My initial reaction is that this series is looking out to be "... a Ranma/Kenshin crossover with a splash of Love Hina harem?" for a direct quote.

I'll give it a few episodes to grow on me though I must say Yoichi already has. Good voice, cute, and I'm a sucker for the overly formal Samurai types. (Kenshin sucked me in and it's been a defining thing ever since I would say)

So... give it points for reminding me of other favorite shows. Hope it does okay because so far this season hasn't impressed me at all. White Album and Akikan? Ugh. At least KuroKami got off to a good start I guess. I'm still holding out for Maria Holic... maybe I'll get lucky somewhere. >_<

It reminds me of FMP as well(although not as good). Yoichi is pretty awesome and the fact that he rarely gets embarassed is another bonus point like when he came in the house and they recognized him, he didn't flinch. I wonder if Ibuki is stronger than him(probably since they haven't showed her fighting yet) but I'm pretty much in love with the entire case(the bear brings new meaning to Pedobear) especially the green haired one.

Loved the male lead of this series, he's one of those strong but gullible characters, similar to Himura Kenshin or Sagara Sosuke. His harem seems pretty basic besides Chihaya who seems to be one of the most moe looking characters I have ever seen. All in all I think the series looks pretty interesting, I mean its nothing to go absolutely crazy about, but it was good none the less. 4/5

This episode was rather good, it was pretty funny. It should be fun seeing how Yoichi will adapt to society and to living with girls. I have a feeling it will be very cliche-like and I hope it will be able to pull it off.
