I could picture this as an anime about the hobby, and instead of moe' loli characters have characters like the ones from Genshiken(something more believable/realistic). But alas, no one would like it cause they wouldn't have their fap material, and the studio wouldn't have their figure/merch sales.... Oh well, honestly it was...ok I guess. I have a feeling it will end up like K-On were the actual hobby will become backround to the cute girls being cute. Basically like other's have said this is K-On with guns. K-On isn't about music at all, it has that aspect because girls look cute playing in a rock band. This has guns because girls look cute with guns.... |
pretty average I think, with some cute moments. Maybe I can start to latch onto the action and strategy eventually. But I'm not optimistic about liking this show in the end. |

C3-bu is currently at ranked 900#~ on amazon with 35 stalker points. You can't judge sales based on the first week of summer. But the difference is rather big at at the moment. |

| I honestly wasn't sure if I'd end up enjoying this show or not just because SoL can be a hit or miss, but I am glad to say that I was entertained with this episode to the end. The opening was good, but the ending theme song was definitely up my alley! The character designs might have been a little lacking, and the art might not be the best in the world, but I did enjoy how much detail the animation had at some points (particularly the guns). Also, some of the facial expressions were just too precious. In terms of pacing, it was more on the slow end at first, I think, but it got much better later on with the Rambo. This will definitely be a show I'll continue watching weekly. |

| Slow start but the rambo game was entertaining to watch as they were covering each other with surpressing fire. |
| I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I will. I only decided to watch this out of boredom and it actually was a good idea. The characters were OK. I liked the blond girl who was playing Rambo in the mock fight. Not so sure about the others. I definitely am excited to see the blue haired girl who is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro! I liked the mock fight a lot. I actually prefer more slower fights. Also it did a good job showing what mock battles are. The jazz music in the background made it even better. The animation was nice but I'm not the hugest fan of the art. It's kind of too moe for me but I'll get used to it. The OP was good. I noticed almost right away that livetune was involved. The ED is nice and entertaining (that glorious Miyuki Sawashiro's singing). Definitely looking foward to more airsoft and mock battles! |

| This is absolutely nothing like the Manga. They added so much more detail, and I believe Sonora was the one who introduced her to the club in the Manga. It's great though, almost as great as Girls und Panzer. Rento so passionate :D |

| I literally finished Girls und Panzer like an hour ago. Looks like it will fill it's space VERY nicely, as long as it stays more or less the same as the end of this episode and not the beginning. |
| This was actually really great. :) Everyone was so adorable, and I love the gun twist. Makes it really funny. I wasn't expecting much from this, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Can't wait for next episode! |
| The first half I was like "WTH, is this really a Gainax show?" Then the jazz and the John Rambo homage began and i thought, "yes, it is". Let's see were they go with this. I hope they manage to keep to the otaku side of things and not get too caught up in the let's eat cake and drink tea side of things. |
