The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

As you can see, we have quite the long lineup of girls for our first round. Half of them will be eliminated after this round, though, so please vote to help us decide who stays and who goes!
P.S. Due to the club having so many members, we aren't able to send out newsletters to all of our members. If you would like to receive newsletters from the Slice of Life Club, post here.
Our newsletters include notifications on when our competition rounds start, club event information, information on our monthly banner contest (new feature starting in September), news about updates and changes to the club, etc.
P.S.S We are in need of active card makers!
We do a few monthly editions and we really need some more card makers to help out with those. If you are interested in applying, click here.
Não desculpo. Desta season nenhum, eu prefiro deixá-los acabar para depois conseguir ver quantos episódios queira... odeio estar curioso e não poder ver o seguinte... Além disso tenho uns quantos na plan to watch, so there's that. E tu, quais vais ver?
Wait, you are Portuguese aren't you?! Why are we speaking English?
I'm actually used to it so I'll use whichever you prefer.
Well that sort of depends on how attached you are to your family members haha. Gintama is mostly funny but it's ultimately a mash of diferent feelings. Throughout the series you will come across some arcs which are rather serious. They are really good, and still have some humor within them.
That person knows. It's not great at the beggining but it gets amazing, even more so when you grow attached to the main characters.
Besides, all the characters are so likable, you'll eventually love them all as you go through your Gintama journey.
Ah, yeah I hate when sites and fansubs never match up the right number of episodes.
How did you like the summer/fall anime? I haven't really watch many summer ones myself except for Monogatari S2. I dipped my toes in a bunch of fall ones, but unsure which one will come out on top yet.
No, I haven't seen the older version of HxH. I tried it before, but I think it was a mistake to watch the 2011 version before haha. Yeah I know exactly what you mean by adventure without so cliché. That Killua and Gon friendship is nice without that yaoi undertone other anime would put in (even if for "comedy"). I've heard the writer is on hiatus with HxH so I hope there isn't an abrupt ending. So either they will just stall the production or continue with an original FMA style and put in their own story.
Same, although the Toradora! ending was sweet though short.
Hm Monogatari S2 has 4 announce recap episodes out of 26 total I think? They already aired 2 recaps which is episode 6 and 11. Basically Nekomonogatari recap and Bakemonogatari recaps respectively. Episode 6 is pretty much the same if you've seen Nekomonogatari. So you can skip that if you weren't so interested in that season. For me what made 11 more interesting was the Araragi commentary and of course it was Bakemonogatari :D.
There are three arcs so far: Tiger, Snail, Snake. Don't you think its refreshing to have a different PoV for a narrator? I think that is what I enjoy most about this season.
What do you think of the HxH chimera ants arc so far? I know a lot of people have been excited for it since the original animation did not have it. I really like it, although it kind of reminds me of the Cell saga in DBZ with the "eating". But seriously, I just really enjoy how different each arc is giving that "adventure" feeling.

I see you started watching Gintama recently, that's awesome!
