I loved the atmosphere of it with the dances. Lol @ the trap. Oh wow, this episode. That performance gets an A+ from me :3 The episode also made me a little hungry. |

| When did Yukino suddenly become so damn adorable? What is happening? Sagami is one of the most intolerable characters ever, damn I can't stand her. I loved the ending though, Yui x Hachiman atmosphere was so awkward. Next week is the finale, expecting great things. |
| -Finaly Sagami get sidelined, with Yukino fully taking over control school festival can succesfuly proceed. And thus Sagami couldn't do much to piss people and goes for sympathetic route insted. -My Yukinon can't be this dere! -Well said Hachiman the Boss. - And thus new OTP is born, it suck to be you Hikki x Saika shipers. |
| You might want to read the Light Novel once it's translated by someone into english. There was also a discussion in this forum about the possibility of a second season. Concerning the episode itself, it had less drama than the episode before therefore having more comedy in it. I personally expected the episode to be more serious as Hachiman was going to do something about the situation. But in the end, it all turned out to be far less intense. The class-play scenes were again very entertaining, however I personally liked the little conversations between Yukino and Hachiman and the trap at the end, which even the genius himself was not ready for. Also, there was a lot of discussion because of Haruka's methods/behaviour in the discussion thread of the previous episode. That's why I liked the direct hint in this episode concerning the sisters' relationship to avoid further misunderstanding. Last point, of course, as it was mentioned already, Yukino's appearances this episode. I usually don't want to mention something like this in a discussion thread, but honestly, there's no way noble Yukino can be this dere. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Totsuka's a trap, Totsuka's a trap, Totsuka's a trap So if I understood the situation correctly, Hikky made himself look like the common enemy acting lazy so everyone would would be forced to stay at the meetings and work the festival including Sagami which is what she was avoiding. His slogan he tried to pass helped get that point across to Sagami realy shaking her up. Her incompetency showed as a result, slowing the production down at the play for example. Still unclear about Haruno and what she truly wants for Yukinon/is after. Sometimes it seems like she does things in her best interests but at other times we've seen her antagonizing Yukinon. Hope to see more of her motives in a clearer light. Haha Hikky's reaction to realizing Yui wanted a date with him for the toast she made for the both of them. Why is she waifu seiyuu of the season voicing Yuigahama and Chi-chan from MaouSama? |

| HA GO DIE SAGAMI. *cough* *ahem* Edit: Good episode! A bright hearted episode is nice after a serious one. Did you see Yukino laugh and smile? That was the highlight of it. And of course, Sagami is obviously not doing any work, and I hope the committee sees that. |

| when Sagami wrote down her Slogan i lost my shit kinda glad Hikik called her out not only that watching her screw up on stage was glorious. Don't know why but i found it kinda cute when Yui was waving good-bye..really want those two to change but at the same time i don't. |

| Just love this episode. Hikigaya's slogan is awesome, it really smack Sagami in the face. The play is hilarious too. |
| Looks like Ebina's nosebleeds are now a running gag. Haruno isn't that bad after all. My assumption about her is wrong as I expected! *We definitely should start a meme with _______ is wrong as I expected!* Haruno's true motive here earned her some good points despite her means of driving the anti-Sagami conspiracy. She gets what she wants, huh? Scary... Hachiman's monologue there about 8 minutes into the episode gave me chills. It completely alluded back to the summer camp arc and also tied in back to his mindset of "refusal to conform" back in episode 1. "Let me show you show you how you really change the world." That piece of information there kinda points out that 8man thinks of himself highly like that of a god. Remember his "become the God of a new world" monologue and his "call me Messiah" a few episodes back? And as a "god" that doesn't conform to a will, 8man imposes his will-- or rather lays his brutal statement that delivers an indirect attack on Sagami (which I think Haruno seems to encourage), in which Yukino seems catches on (cue adorable laughter). I suspected that Sagami will have her downfall sooner or later due to Yukino's superb competence, but Hachiman's statement was the factor that actually broke her (dare I say that Haruno wasn't expecting it to happen that that fast). I feel that Hachiman was merciful here that he managed to get his point across to Sagami without having the whole council turn on her. Like a merciful god, no? Hachiman has certainly changed the world here and by sticking to his own rugged individuality too. Yet, I can only somewhat start to pity Hachiman now... He's starting to be some social martyr now as he indirectly and intentionally expresses his opinions to his targets in ways that get him to be detested. Did you see Hayama actually give Hachiman the cold shoulder when he said that? Tsurumi did it as well! Hachiman is also a Christ-like figure: changing the world with his opinions as the number of haters start to increase. And he also helped Yukino too at the expense of his "status," which he does not need. Now why did he speak his mind? To help Yukino. She got sick because she worked too hard and people weren't working hard enough. So what do you know? Hachiman voices his opinion and now everyone hates him because he wants to "relax." But the thing is, he's working hard-- perhaps even harder than everyone else. And they don't like it, so they work hard too! Yukino's workload is decreased and the festival follows through with her expectations. Sagami on the other hand slacks off, and she takes this opinion to heart that it nearly breaks her near the end of the episode. Did Hachiman intentionally want to break Sagami? I dunno. But it he probably knew that his words would resonate with her (Haruno dislikes perceptive guys); I guess that's why he did not include her as an example for his statements because status matters to her and status doesn't matter to him. I don't think Hachiman is willing to bring down another person to his level of social isolation. |

| Nice ep! Yukinon! was so cute her. As well as those Yui and hachiman moments. Yukinon is finally opening up abit, and is this jealousy i sense when hachiman was with her sis? Sagami? Whos that? OH! it's the girl that fcvked up on stage and became the laughing stock! Bitch got what she deserved! |

  The new "Muttsurini" female version! Haha. She totally reminds me now of Muttsurini in Baka to test.. those nosebleeds! I was so happy Hikki did that to Sagami's slogan. And Hikki and Yukinon's fight talk over the mic is hilarious. Too bad there are few episodes left. |

| Let's face it, Yukino and Hachiman are made for each other. Hachiman went all out and made all those nasty comments ridiculing himself which made everyone disgusted at him but made Yukino laugh. Yukino even waved at Hachiman. I seriously love their interactions with each other. Sagami's confidence plummeted and she became a massive wreck. I laughed so hard at the BL play. Go Saika! xD Haruno acting very sly as usual. One of the best episodes of Oregairu. Also the title of the next episode made me laugh. :) |

My reaction during those Yukino moments. I don't really like what they did at the end with Hachiman and Yui...it feels like it's going romcom route...a bit too quickly. |

In particular I think your insight of the character of Hachiman and how his action/thought echoes his philosophy and experience in previous episodes, as well as his motivation and intention for what he did in this episode. One thing that made this anime a surprise hit in Japan is how much a lot of people identify with the cynical yet gold-hearted loner Hachiman. He never doubts his way but yet makes sufficient compromises and takes the needed actions (when nobody can or is willing to do) to help other people time after time. I believe here he meant to help Yukinon (in his own way) but at the end he does not want to do it by devastating anybody. |

| Such an amazing episode this week! The characters really shined in this one. Hachiman was epic. Loved his analogies and points of view as always - and he can also get things done very well if he wants to. I really liked how you could interpret his speech both as hinting at Yukinoshita’s position, as well as making himself the "bad guy" at the same time to unite the group. He might be a cynical loner, but he’s still kind at heart. Yukino was great this ep as well, and so was her sister. I really like her, she’s quite scary yet nice at the core. Couldn’t stop laughing at her exaggerated reactions, what a way to rub it in everyone’s face! :D Yui was so cute at the end of this episode! I really like her seiyuu. :) Also, that Death Note reference from Hachiman. Seems like 2chan isn’t entirely alien to him. :D |

| A guy like Hachiman would be totally ostracized in a culture like Japan's were politeness and saving face are so important. The way he with his speech basically forced Sagami and all involved to keep working hard was quite blunt. Unfortunately for him though, only the Yukninoshita sisters and Sensei were probably aware of the fact that he himself is not lazy, much less depends on others for his work. I wonder if at some point Sagami or someone else doesn't directly go after him. Yukinoshita brightened up immensely after Yui's initiative and visit. Kudo's to Yui for being the icebreaker between Yukino and Hachiman too. And boy was she clever in setting herself up for a nice little date with Hachiman. I've been doubting all this time what onee'san is up to, but after this episode it's clear to me that she does love her sister and is trying to give her some tough experiences in order to help her break out of her shell. |
