THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Edit: This is the discussion for the movie, which at the time of the creation of this thread hadn't even aired yet, so people got confused with the little theatre shorts. |

Just finished it. The fight scene at the end with Heart and Baku was pretty cool. Just the whole setting with the snow falling during the fight was well animated. I was however kind of confused over Umasou though. He plays a big role during the second part but in the ending you just forget that he's there... Either way nicely animated movie with some cool seiyuus in it(Heart's seiyuu is the same as Usopp from One Piece). 8/10 |

It was a good family-friendly that I actually enjoyed. I was quite into the story and got attached to the main character, Heart, so that it did not feel like full 90 minutes. Also, I was so glad it was not one of those propaganda film that promotes vegetarianism to kids by trying to bend the nature's law. |

funnily enough, I can't think of a nitpick for this movie. I always manage to find something to complain about even in movies that I love... but not here. |

So Baku Died? That Dinosaur which talked at the end with old berry dinosaur was Heart? Shame, that they did not show grown-up Heart with his child, fighting side by side or with Baku:> ''Baku origins'' ''Heart reactivation'' xDPPP. |

Shit yo, I thought that was Baku talking with him at the end. :c I wish Baku and Heart could've had a bro father/son moment Towards the end, when they're fighting, I thought he was hugging him and I was like YEAA- then, BODYSLAM But really liked the movie. I keep listening to the "Big Jaw Comes to Steal Crying Children" over and over and over and over. EDIT: Baku didn't die, it was him in the credits, because after they show him talking, they switch to Heart and Umasou. |

Okay Umasou is officially the coolest and (This does not degreade my man points) Cutest, character in existence. Holy shit, I almost died from over exposure of cuteness. Also paired with the fact that it is incredibly strong (relative to size), he is just... Supreme. And the movie itself, I found it extremely enjoyable. Heart was badass in knowing what to do, getting through those obstacles. The artwork was pretty damn good (especially the sea, wow that was the highlight imo) story was nice. Yea, great stuff here |

Kind of cliché, but I loved his personality. I love that this is light hearted and cute, but at the same time somewhat dark. The humour was great. |

Those dinosaurs look so moé at times xD The face expressions are great, like the variety of emo-cons. Sweet story, lots of patently love. Heart's voice though, I keep thinking of Usopp shouting XD Little Umasou is adorable like a pokemon, I like they had an actual kid to voice-act him. I kept wanting to see him grow a little more than what we saw, he's always so tiny. Sakata-san said: I was however kind of confused over Umasou though. Yeah I agree, Umasou was suddenly not important at all in the third half, weird, since the movie is named after him. I'm glad he gets to stick with Heart, they'll be a great team. |

Hmm pretty good, I watched this because I actually have the picture book. The movie adds a lot of side characters and backstory for Heart (only called Tyrannosaurus in the book), but only the end was different. The book ends with the race. Heart goes the other way and Umasou runs until he meets two Ankylosaurus the same species as him, probably his parents. It was implied that Heart knew they were there. |

I don't know who quotes me and then deletes the comment, but know that you make my day. STEAM's GOTY 2024 the Ghost of Tsushima If digital buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing - usar el botón de ignorar te hace estupido, no seas tonto y agarra tus cojones que ya eres mayorcito - |

Well, that was way better than I thought it would be. Had some ups and downs for me, but holy shit that was a fun watch. Wish it was longer though, or that the sequel was relevant at all. Oh, and Umasou is too cute for words. |

This is one of the best movies I've ever watched It was more violent than what I thought it would be. I didn't expect the psychological stuff neither. I don't think that this movie for kids tbh, it contained a lot of mature content. It could have easily been a 2-cour anime. But whatever... 10/10 |

Aww that movie was so sweet! Buut there were so many sad parts D: like at the very beginning when those bad guys destroyed the eggs :’’( And then when the herd chief almost smashed Heart D’’’: It was also sad when Heart went to leave his mom, but I guess it was for the best :( Lol, Umasou was so adorable!!!! Super energetic and a great pair with Heart. I was so sad when he gotten beaten up by the other T-rexes, but thankfully Heart was able to save him and get the other ones back! So glad that Heart was able to see his mom and brother again (though temporarily) to make sure they were safe from the volcano eruption. Lol the part where the little bug got eaten by the spider which got eaten by the frog which got eaten by the squirrel which got eaten by the bird was really funny xD It was cool to see Heart in that tree, but how’d he get up that tree? Overall, a very good (and surprisingly emotional) movie. The characters were great and the story was quite compelling. There was some funky pacing, but overall a great movie. DINOSAURS! 9-10/10 |

children's film, intended for children although it has its violent moments, and surely in these times, its age rating would be for people over 13 years of age. Identity problems, living as one wishes as one should and thinking about the future. 6/10 |

In all seriousness, this is a great kids movie. It's not just the interesting narrative with some touching moments, but also the top-notch animation, especially the battle scenes were surprisingly well done. 9/10 is well-deserved for this gem |
