Every time the 2 of them appeared at the same time her sister's appearance is always louder and sometime to the point that Chihaya became soundless. | I was about to say that Chihaya's parents were really mean for not noticing her accomplishments, but when she found that book with her pictures and started crying I almost cried too. ;A; And I'm starting to get mad at her for always thinking "Arata, Arata". I mean, yes, he was the one who showed her how Karuta can be fun, but Taichi and her other friends were the ones who showed her the meaning, the meaning of playing with friends and doing something good. I'll really be mad if in the end of the show she end up with Arata. |

| Damn.. I just started watching it last saturday and finished yesterday. Episode 12 looked like and ending and I was like "NO! WTF! ENCORE!". When I checked MAL, it says there'll still be more episodes. A great relief. Anyways, I'm loving this anime! :) It might come up to my top 10 list (or even top 5). ;D |

Yes please lol XD Anyways, knew that they were gonna find her articles in the news but still sad Chihaya didn't say anything to her parents ;( Ah, giving Hokuo's secret notes?! :P Hmm, did the cards always have the drawings on them? I don't remember ... maybe it's just because of Kana and how she knows all the stories? Interesting for her to arrange them by seasons, but I guess maybe it won't work ...? I think they should have let her though, but what do I know :P Would have been nice to see Nishida tell them about the Omi whatever lol. Also Desktomu was like "yep ... I'm still fifth" LOL and Chihaya fifth from the bottom XD Nice that the Empress got around and is taking them. I have a feeling they might be seeing Arata there ...? Darn ... now I'm gonna have to actually wait for the episodes to come out D: |
| Thus starts my marathon of Chihayafuru! I've been outta the loop.. but I'm back with a vengeance. What a great episode <3 glad to feel just as enthralled with this show as when I took a hiatus. This is quality. |

| I can't wait to see Arata, he's so cute!!! there are so many heartwarming moments this episode, my favorite was when Chihaya found the scrapbook of her, awww <3 <3 <3 And also i.. somehow love the empress, she reminds me of Margaret Hatcher |

| amazing episode!!!! it seems retro team are a little sore. at first i freaking hated them due to being cocky and not taking the seriously. you reap what you sow. feel sorry for Retro though. been working hard and all. though i've grown new respect to them, wishing Team Chiahaya good luck for the tournament and don't disappoint Tokyo. also Retro giving the secret files to them is ace!!!!!!! thank you!! they definitely now has a chance on winning this :) Chihaya's family seems nice despite neglecting Chihaya too much :( Chihaya begging for Desk-kun not to quit is funny XD Chihaya versus Harada, it seems Harada is right on how Chihaya is too emotional at times of the game. at least Taichi manage to make sense for her :P though her family does care about her!!! Kana chan is definitely the star of this episode!!!!! love her cute face!!!!! it seems the principal is not that bad huh? glad she joined in!!!! finally the team is heading to the national tournament!!!!!! from now the competition will be stiff as hell!!! i wonder if they'll face Arata also? good luck Mizusawa team!!!!! |
| Awww they also made a scrapbook for her! :') I love how kana recites these poems.. I am beginning to have an interest in japanese poems..but too bad i have yet to learn the Japanese language.. Looks like the time when Arata, taichi and chihaya is going to meet again is near... wonder what happens if arata is one of their opponents?? :O Anyway, looking forward to what kind of strong opponents they'll meet in the nationals.. And i also have a better opinion of that teacher now.. |

| They're going to the finals and they even managed to impress Ms. Miyauchi and now she even went with them to the competition! Just awesome development!!! The part with the paper snippets that her dad made was beautiful. I really liked that part but damn this was a good episode! |

| Chihaya's parents do care about Chihaya's activities after all. Now that she knows her parents care about her as well she'll have that drive and ambition to do better. The karuta club advisor notices hoe much the group cares about Karuta so she changes her mind and joins them. |
