Very good episode plot-wise. It's getting increasingly interesting, so I'm happy that there'll be a second season because it's obvious that everything can't be resolved in the next 4 episodes. I hope Nakasugi won't die at episode 13 though (which should be the logical development when the Ryunka reaches its last stage, and an expected climax to end the season...).

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

Well there is going to be another season anyway, right? I'm guessing it will end on somebody dying but somehow being alive for the next season.

Good episode, very nice action scenes and even some humor. I can't wait to see the end of this season.

I think I can safely call this one of the best shows of the year, and certainly my favorite from this season. The plot seems to be moving along at a nice pace, and with a second season on the horizon, I have high hopes.

it was like most of the aired episodes which were horrible, fight was even not a DBZ level lol xD wont even try to talk about the first horrific 10 minutes.. ppfff...

edit: @evilakito: you arent even watching one third of this season's anime series, so i can safely say, Tetsuwan Birdy Decode is,to me, one of the worst series of the summer season, only OP-wise is it equal to some other airing series, try watching Bounen no Xamdou or Ryoko's Case File, you will see the difference mate...

Things are getting more exciting.
It's not often that the hero/heroine gets their ass handed to them with as much finesse as in this episode. Maybe because she was fighting a combat robot and... secret agent man?
I'm kidna dissapointed in Shyamalan. I thought he was going to be an actually cool, intelligent bad guy, but turns out he's crazy. Typical.
And I'm liking the TsutomuxNakasugi [potential] relationship, so the episode end was kinda cute. I'll be seriously dissapointed if Tsutomu and Bridy take a liking to each other... they're better as "partners."

Well the episode was okay, good action.
But it's really a pain I get so few information on everything ...
Who's that girl!! Can't Birdy not use her authority at all? I mean it feels like being a federal investigator means nothing. She has no back-up, has no idea what she's up against, can't call in help, can't use her authority ... and i hate that part.
It's like some dude comes in wacking a police officer and everythings cool afterwards.
I get that federal stuff is hard being on Earth but still .. how can their be aliens on there without the federal bural knowing about it and backing up Birdy with intel or other things.
Tsutomu and Birdy are hardly partners to me .. i mean imo what has Tsutomu contributed to the investigation? he's more like a passive onviewer off the events.

Im still watching this series but it's taking them far to slow to explain things to me (or maybe i'm just dumbwitted not getting the 'hidden' clues ... sigh), overall the pacing is to slow to me.

On to the next episode where i hope more gets explained and develops.

True, he doesn't act like one. But she did say that he was her new partner (after Tute died).

I don't see them as partners in the sense that they can cover each other in the heat of battle, but rather that they can offer each other different points of view to examine a situation from, and they can both provide the other an alibi if their cover is blown. You saw how Tsutomu covered for her when she was caught in the bath, yes? Things like that, albeit small, do help smooth the investigation and bring them closer to the truth.
Just my two cents.

Quite interesting episode I have to say, the characters that suddenly came to the same destination as all of them, well things seem to be building up for the end already, so lets see what's next!

Okay so the Sham hammer is just a plain psycho.

And there are more players involved than we thought.

Pretty good fight between Undine and Birdy, but it seems there are greater fish out there with a lot more strength. Well this episode really shows Shyamalan's psycho side, just a guess but since he was claiming to be one of the chosen I think he went through something similiar as that baby.

Takeaways from this episode:
1. Sham Hammer thinks he is the Chosen One, so does every evil genius
2. Gomez has the 80's porn mustache going along with some big muscle
3. MC isn't much of a "partner", he is just on the Birdy bus asking "You okay?" a lot
4. Nakasugi is like the song Venus by Shocking Blue..."She's got it...yeah Baby she's got it"
