Anyway provided they didn't try to wrap up the plot completely, a sequel for this was a no-brainer. Vol. 2 is over 30k, Vol. 3 will probably get there, and even the supply-constrained Vol. 1 passed 26k. I don't anticipate a big drop across the remaining volumes either.

As for someone related to noitaminA saying the adverts wouldn't work in other shows... well, yeah. Especially not noitaminA shows, where it would seem completely absurd. Another show or two might be able to get away with it but I can't see it becoming a trend.

I did not imply that at all.
T&B was animated by one of their weakest teams.

I don't have it on me, but a while back they announced how it went well beyond their expectations in response to the amount of popularity it was getting.
It also implied it put pressure on the other teams because if they could get results from cheaper teams there's no excuse for the better ones.

But they never went and said they did a good job.

The advertising in the series is like Nascar/racing where you see the costume/uniform/suit that has the sponsor of the hero on it and you always see that a couple time per episode. And the sponsors are actually a part of the anime, not just random.

I was so not interested in a show I judged based off of its name (Tiger & Bunny - I thought loli) and poster art (made me think mecha) but I read a review that called out both my preconceptions and said they were wrong, so I decided I'd watch at least 4 episodes - I got totally hooked and am now trying to refrain from watching for a little while so I can get a good marathon in again.
