That was a pretty good episode. :D

It hadn't passed the 4mins mark and I more or less knew what the case was about, but the second half really picked up and I enjoyed it.

Same for me!

But I really enjoyed that one. 5/5

I like those pretty unusual plotlines and the seriousness of that anime. It's really great how they overload it with new things to never let it become boring.
This time the plot was extremely nice. That's a pretty interesting thing and a serious social problem of the modern world.

The Ending Song is pretty nice, too.

Amachi falling onto the floor was pretty funny. She's so clumsy, I mean unlucky. :D
In a normal anime this wouldn't be enough to find it funny, but in a serious anime this is a really fitting kind of comedy.

The other very interesting thing was the song. I know that song from my childhood. We have it as a german song (same text in german) with the same melody, too. I didn't know that the japanese have it, too? If that's the case it's pretty amazing.

Ya its amazing how a song is in a multitude of cultures despite all their differences. Liked the plot of life and old peoples. This show is turning out to be pretty good

Wow, talk about an emotional episode.

Made me pretty depressed.

I enjoyed this episode too. What I didn't expect, is the fact, that it isn't the mystery or suspence (despite that it's a mysteryseries) but the drama that makes this anime awesome.

Can't really understand why things like Nijuu Musume or Kanokon are hyped on one hand; and on the other hand there aren't many people who like series like himitsu.

The song is pretty widespread. Even in Slovan cultures (I know the Slovak version).

The plot was very nice. I like how this anime is not as much about the detective stuff as it is about the psychological aspects.

Nice, nice. I like it.

Agreed, this series has a strong effect in that area.

Very good episode, the plot was nicely done and it was very emotional.

Great episode. The soundtrack for this anime is brilliant too.

I agree, I especially love the 'cool song' when they discovers something new. Do you know which I mean?

So the suicide theorie that I had for the american president, came just one episode later.
It was not a bad episode and they did a nice job reminding us of some society problems, the "dispose" of old people...
Though the scene where the boy asks his mother for a room, seemed stolen from Tokyo Babylon (Manga by Clamp) that had a similar scene. Of course it might just be a "usual" conversation in Japan (I hope not...) and it was just coincidentely similar.

Well, I'm also german but I didn't know there was a german version of it. What went wrong in my childhood?! XD
I only knew the english one (we learned it even in school) so it was funny to hear a japanese version of it.

Really? I don't like the soundtrack at all... The "cool song" sounds like some primitive dance song (I see people dancing around a fire when I hear that song...) it so doesn't fit in this modern style anime... What I hate the most is the preview song (also used in the anime sometimes)... X_X And the worst thing is, that after each episode it's stuck in my head for the next 10 minutes... T_T

Be wary of children who won't hesitated to pull the plug on you. I really do not understand how some people don't give a rat ass about their elderly totally forgetting all the sacrifices made for them when they couldn't take care of themselves.

That was an obvious yet powerful episode. I much preferred this to the two more "unexpected" episodes. I loved the Pied Piper motif the disposal man had going. I also found it pretty amusing that I knew what song they were singing during the memory with no audio.

That was really depressing. Even if life becomes really hard, I sincerely hope I NEVER become like that - the one who 'disposes' and the one who gets 'disposed'.

Exactly, I was expecting some kind of suspense like Death Note.
But this show (at least this episode) delivers a nice perspective of the issues we deal with on a daily basis.

Kinda weird hearing the conversation between the little kid and the mother, "praying" for his grandfather to die.

I think this was the best episode so far. Exploration into a type of death/loneliness that everyone will eventually face. The show does a good job at tying in investigations with the protagonist's personal life. Unlike the previous episodes, I don't have anything in particular I want to nitpick at.
I hope this is a sign that this show will keep getting better.
