| Ah, so the police are finally coming around to what we all suspected for quite the while now about the Meijin. This episode was rather suspenseful on and off the shougi board. As always, I adored the Shion and Saitou moment earlier in the episode and I thought the reaction to their meeting by Shion's adoptive father was hilarious. As for the shougi match, I know this is heresy when I say this, but I'm not sure that I want Shion to win – I don't know, while she's good at shougi, I think it's rather unrealistic if she won. The episode ended with the ultimate of cliff-hangers! In any case, there are two more episodes left and I can't wait to see how this series turns out. =) |

In the beginning she was praying for Shion's success at a shrine, which was the "errand" she was talking about. Well, this was a good episode, i can't wait for the rest of the match. And for Hani-Meijin to explain why he killed Shion's parents(if it's actually him who did it... and i can't think of anyone else who would have done it, since Satoru pretty much cleared his name already). Now let's just hope L-E are gonna sub the next episode faster. |

| man seriously i loved this episode it was so cute at the start when shion's dad was so worried for his daughter speaking to ayumi so cuuute >3< and i loved the build up and intense ending arghh hurry up next episode! >_< the errand that shion's mum did was praying for her at the temple! if you didn't see that |

| awesome episode, although it would have been a lot better if there hadn't been such a long break for the subs. can't wait until the next episode comes out, seems like it's going to be really good ^_^ |

| Who knows how long we have to wait for Live-eviL to sub the next ep. I hope it's very soon, because once again this episode was fantastic. Whether you love it or hate it, I continue to admire Studio DEEN's guts with the animation quality and how unique some of the poses and objects look, even with their limited budget. The intensity is really starting to hit boiling point too. Things are getting really exciting. The scene with Ayumi and Shion was cute, as usual. |

| I was expecting Shion to head into the match and just start talking smack. Start by speaking the "good luck" then move on to "what are you looking at @#$?" when he stares at her maybe a nice "I'm going to make you wish you had never picked up a shougi piece" or "We have an unfinished game from 8 years ago, I'm here to show you how it ends" Oh well, he ended up being the one talking smack and creating some thick tension. |
| Oh god I hope the meijin's reason for killing Shion's parents isn't like "I sensed something special in her so I'm going to kill her parents to make her strong blah blah blah then I can fight her in the future." Please don't go down that route. |

| The match is incredible, finally time for Shion vs Hani! |

| We've reach the final match, and despite only just starting, it's the most intense one of the whole series. I don't know if Shion can win, but it's likely that she'll figure out the truth during the match. That is if Makoto doesn't pull a Light Yagami and start monologuing. At the end of the day all that's left to ask is:  |
 "...Is your mother worried? Would you like us to assign someone to worry your mother?" |
| Makoto is uncharacteristically expressive in this match. It goes without saying that there's a reason for that besides Shion just being entertaining to play against. |
