| I didn't realize until now how much I've missed this show. And the OP, I lawled. The randomness. Is as good as always. And this is like, one of the few shows that, despite being random, is enjoyable because of the randomness. And it's good to see Kobayashii Yuu in this role that suits her oh so well, once again. |

| LoL. Epic OP theme performed by Tomokazu Sugita. XD It also does a good job of summarizing the first season of Maria Holic for the first-time viewers. :) Anyway, while it looks like one of those SHAFT's low-budget show, it is nevertheless pretty fun to watch thanks to hilarious jokes from the manga. |

I know SHAFT does a lot of these low budget shows but damn... some of the models used were absolutely terrible(e.x. around 22:30 we get a top down view of Kanako who looks like shes been drawn by a 10 year old), hope they fix these for the BD. Otherwise i loved it and cant wait for more! |

| Ahhhhhh~ How I've missed my God. I think it was a great episode to start things off, especially when Matsurika played a humorous role. I'm hoping that the op is not the real op and that the ending will be awesome since the first season's were both great. |

| Umm...just an average first ep. Now I'm wondering why I gave the first season an 8 because I honestly think it was just ok, nothing more. 5/10 for this first episode. The only thing that I really liked is the OP. |

| I am a pure innocent lesbian schoolgirl is certainly something i want to say but shamefully it's impossible for me. I am really happy that this Anime is back and it was nice to watch ones again tho the nose bleeds are a bit out of control at times. Also lets keep things friendly most of us aren't happy that Madoka got delayed because of the Earthquake and Tsunami. But those episodes will come out ones the DVD's arrive on the market. Shaft can't help it that Japanese TV decided to delay airing it. |

| The OP was by far the best thing in this eppy. Somehow my memory keeps telling me the 1st season was much better and had some kind of a plot connecting the randomness throughout the episodes. So I hope it was just for this "let's remember what Maria+Holic is" episode. And I can't agree less with most of you - so nice to see all the characters and jokes back! Vivat SHAFT! |

So the answer is you could probably enjoy it without watching the first season. |

| ehhh it was an okay episode, but nothing I think was that great Shikune said: I was expecting that it would continue from last episode of first season (you know, Mariya's sister asking Kanako about her pendant and it ended that way). I was also expecting that. I hope it will show up later in the anime |

| ...Not enough Maria. Seriously. Maria actually is the main reason I watch this series, but I must admit, the opening was pretty awesome and there was a fair amount of pretty funny stuff. Overall, a decent start to the new season, I look forward to more. |
| Wasn't exactly the greatest way to start it off, though it wasn't really smart of shaft to end the the first anime with a cliffhanger (With season two not starting off where it left off, but if it did then it wouldn't be very accessible to new viewers), I like the series but I suspect this season may be a bit ruff down the road, a 3 out of 5 for the first episode. |
